### 1.2.12 — 2026-08-08

Improves iCloud sync reliability and visibility. Failed uploads now retry with persistent backoff and show the failure reason, attempt time, and next retry in Settings. Pull to refresh clearly reports whether the cloud changed, with added, modified, and deleted counts based on article UUIDs. Repository-level sync status and conflict recovery let you keep the local copy or download the iCloud copy. This release also fixes stalled share-link creation and empty-repository sharing conflicts, and restructures AppStore for maintainability.

### 1.2.11 — 2026-07-28

Fixes an issue where read-only shared repositories could be mistaken for pending uploads, show a conflict on launch, and pause syncing. Read-only members now download changes only; legacy pending local data is kept in a safe on-device recovery copy and is never uploaded. Also improves permission downgrade and crash recovery reliability.

Fixes a CloudKit subscription migration in 1.2.9 that could stop background updates for shared repositories. This release safely restores and verifies stable subscriptions without deleting working fallbacks, and adds APNs registration retries and sync diagnostics.

Improves shared repository sync. CloudKit silent pushes now fetch updates during system-granted background time, with faster catch-up at launch and when returning to the foreground. This release also adds low-frequency background recovery, durable resume, conflict protection, rate-limit backoff, and incremental shared-image sync.
