## What is Kala Yoga Timer?

Kala is a yoga timer. Build a sequence of intervals, press start, and the session runs hands-free.

A gong, bell, bowl, or chime sounds at the end of each timer, and the next one begins on its own. Pause whenever you need to. After the last interval the clock counts upward, so a long savasana is never cut short.

Sequences are made of blocks. A block holds one timer or several, and it can repeat. Three minutes nine times, then a five-minute rest, is two blocks. Three minutes and one minute, five times, is one block with two timers. Tap any bar to change its name, length, and color. Bar widths match the durations, so you can see the shape of the practice before you start.

Save a sequence as a routine and load it the next time. A few starter routines are included.

Choose from nine sounds, or silence. Set the volume, play a sound when the session starts, and play a triple sound when the whole sequence finishes. The screen stays awake while you practice.

Fourteen themes set the background, from northern lights to a quiet beach. Reduce background motion if you want them still.

Kala works offline. Sequences and settings stay on your phone. There is no account.
