### 4/5 — Bugs

*2026-04-26*

Often the Buttons to Click doesnt work or the Game crashes or it lags

### 4/5 — Great app overall

*2025-07-16, version 3.1.8*

Truly a one-of-a-kind app for anyone looking to learn a dialect. However, I believe it would be very beneficial to add a review section to practice all the vocabulary learned so far. Also, please fix the speech exercises — I had native speakers read the sentences out loud, and they were still marked as incorrect.

### 2/5 — Sound doesn’t work and exercises don’t open correctly

*2025-06-28, version 3.1.5*

I was really interested in getting started learning the Arabic alphabet. I paid a yearly subscription but very quickly glitches and errors started. First the third exercise wouldn’t work. There is no real introduction to explain the features. Then the sound stopped working. If I can’t fix it soon I will cancel my subscription and ask for a refund.

### 2/5 — Not good

*2025-03-18, version 3.1.2*

I keep writing properly, but the system doesn’t recognize it. It says it is incorrect, but it is correct indeed. And it repeats itself 100x. I started from beginning for fun, even though I am intermediate level at university.

### 5/5 — Great app to learn Egyptian dialect and reading !

*2024-12-15*

I have tried every single application for learning the Egyptian dialect, and this one is truly among the best. My reading skills have been improving very quickly thanks to this app.

I just have one suggestion: it would be great to include mixed revisions from the previous lessons we’ve covered and to make it accessible offline.

### 5/5 — Pretty good so far

*2024-11-15*

Not far into it, but I REALLY love that it specializes in specific dialects, not just MSA like so many apps/programs. Only big I’ve run into so far is the oft-mentioned playback feature for the voice recordings (doesn’t work), and there is sometimes a kind of annoying delay between tapping the audio cue buttons and when the audio actually plays.

### 4/5 — Actually helps you LEARN

*2024-07-22, version 2.0.5*

This app excels in helping you really remember things. I could do a lesson half asleep and still remember it all the next day. It simply blows duolingo out of the water. I would argue it's better for memory and dialect learning than busuu except for busuu's community option. The ability to learn the dialect of your choice is genuinely a gamechanger and no other apps can compare in that aspect. For those debating whether they should pay the monthly subscription fee, I look at it as trading spending $$$ on a couple coffees a month for being able to communicate with millions more people than i could before. Absolutely worth it.

Only problem is that the exercise for recording your voice doesn't allow you to play it back, which i think is a bug.

### 5/5 — Conversational in three months!!!!

*2024-05-24, version 2.0.5*

I was able to become conversational in my chosen dialect in three months with the app and watching Arabic TV!!!! This app is so worth it and I wish there were ones like it for other languages because this one is the best

### 5/5 — This is THE app for Arabic

*2024-04-11*

MSA, Levantine, Gulf, Egypt and Tunisian dialect - grammar - comprehension - if all language learning apps where this good we’d be polyglots - seriously this is incredible!!!!

### 4/5 — Very useful and interactive, but there is room for improvement

*2024-01-29, version 2.0.5*

This is possibly one of the only apps on the market that allows users to select a specific dialect of Arabic to learn (the vast majority of apps focus on MSA). As such, it is an invaluable tool for those seeking to begin their Arabic language learning journey. However, it seems that you cannot use it on multiple devices. I.e. I cannot login to my kaleela account on my iPad because I am already logged into it on my iPhone. This is quite frustrating when you have paid for a subscription but can only use it on one device…

### 5/5 — Best app to learn Arabic

*2024-01-29*

It’s great but please add translation to each sentence or words. The translation can be hidden maybe it can appear by pressing the words but please add it because it’s necessary 🙏🏻 besides that the app it’s really complete I love that you explain grammar and teach useful phrases with real context.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2024-01-25, version 2.0.5*

I have used a lot of language apps, and when it comes to learning a specific dialect of Arabic this one takes is the best I’ve found. Nothing gave me this level of accurate vocabulary and simple structure for learning it. It’s good to acknowledge people don’t just want to learn MSA and this app really helped me on my journey of speaking Jordanian Arabic. Worth every penny

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2024-01-24, version 2.0.5*

I'm having some problems with my progress being saved, but the content is great

### 3/5 — Not sure if this is something I should try

*2024-01-10, version 2.0.5*

You guys should give a free trial for a month at least to see if it’s worth to pay
I’m sorry if you have a code to redeem discount

### 4/5 — Problem

*2023-07-20, version 2.0.4*

It won’t let you record voice

### 1/5 — bad bad bad

woof bal yeat the tip of a pencil

### 1/5 — Nope

*2026-08-21, version 3.2.3*

Too boring

### 1/5 — Crashes often

*2026-02-19, version 3.2.0*

Crashes often

### 1/5 — My thought

*2025-10-26, version 3.1.9*

Although at first glance this does look pretty nice, there are much better alternatives for learning Arabic.
Devs,
I have a few thoughts for you:
1. Maybe making the trial a bit bigger or subscription cheaper? Your plans are too pricy for just an app while I could learn more by reading a book.

### 1/5 — Don’t recommend

*2025-03-06, version 3.1.2*

Horrible experience with app. I have paid 3 months upfront. I have not been able to access any lessons for days because of the bugs in the app. When I click on a lesson, it tells me to pay again. I don’t know why I wasted my money. I reached out to customer support and it has been silent. Don’t waste your money. They need better app developers. So many glitches in the app and customer service is zero.

### 1/5 — Taken my money but doesn’t work

*2022-11-29, version 2.0.3*

I have a paid subscription for one year but it doesn’t work and tries to get me to pay again. I have tried to contact support but they haven’t helped me fix the problem yet. Please solve this issue as you have taken my money!

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2022-07-28, version 2.0.2*

Needs work. There aren’t a lot of options to learn Arabic, so I tried to subscribe. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t let me past entering the password. Deleting the app.

### 1/5 — Possible scam

*2022-01-14, version 1.3.34*

I paid for a subscription and have been locked out of everything on the app. It continues to prompt me to pay for a subscription I already have. I have emailed the customer support team with no response.

### 1/5 — It says data not collected but read the privacy policy

*2021-01-31, version 1.3.11*

We may share your data including email addresses with other data processors such as Facebook, Google, Instagram and Snapchat to provide targeted advertising.

### 1/5 — New version requires a subscription

*2020-11-04, version 1.3.8*

Their release notes don’t tell you this, but the new version requires a subscription. So if you have been using the app it might be better to not update to the latest version.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Makes me so happy

*2026-08-23, version 3.2.3*

Hi, I’ve been trying to learn Arabic for my whole life because my parents never taught me Arabic when I was young younger even though I am Middle Eastern. I have struggled trying to find where to start my language journey, but after using this app, which I really wish I had found sooner I now fully know how to letter in the Arabic language and once I finish the alphabet part that teaches you the sounds of each letter I’m gonna start learning the forms of each letter the specific vowels. another great thing about the app is that it gives you different Arabic dialect so you can pick from a variety of dialect, including MSA and so because you can learn a specific dialect you can learn how to communicate with people in real life other than teach you modern standard Arabic, which isn’t used for speaking at all

### 5/5 — Great app for local dialects

*2026-07-08, version 3.2.3*

I am learning Palestinian/jordanian and love that I’m not being taught FusHa

### 5/5 — Review with Kaleela

*2025-10-04, version 3.1.9*

I like the length of the lessons and the repetition helps me ground my basic alphabet skills!

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for

*2025-08-11, version 3.1.8*

After going through a handful of language learning apps, I’m so glad I found Kaleela! Thorough, engaging, 10/10.

### 5/5 — This app is very great

*2025-07-27, version 3.1.8*

I really loved this app, because I didn’t know how it actually was, because I have no idea about what I was trying to learn, but I know these, but it should be the same ones in there, because I know why everything is the same thing, because I sensitively learned, but I have something to know about what there are all of these, but I haven’t been trying to know about what I shouldn’t be learning anything.

### 5/5 — So cool

*2025-07-19*

This is just so cool but this is always very great, if I just know about what I really thought about it, because it was just great.

### 5/5 — So cool

*2025-06-16*

This is just so cool but this is always similar, as I do if I just thought about what these are, but it doesn’t mean everything on how much they can, but I have no idea what that stands for what I already thought about that, but this is so awesome. It does when I actually thought I know something. This is what it should be better about what I already learned like, Duolingo, FunEasyLearn, Alifbee, and Polly Lingual, Ling, or something.

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2025-05-06, version 3.1.5*

Works better on my phone than my computer

### 5/5 — Amazing app on the App Store.

*2025-03-23, version 3.1.2*

One of the most exceptional app I have ever used. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to learn Arabic.
