FAQ

Q. I notice latency between tapping and hearing sound.
A. We recommend using the device speaker or a wired connection, such as earphones, headphones, USB-C, or Lightning audio.
Bluetooth audio is more likely to have noticeable latency due to how wireless audio works.

Q. Sounds or animations become unstable with three-finger or larger multi-touch gestures.
A. If Settings > Accessibility > Zoom is turned on, iOS/iPadOS gives priority to three-finger system gestures, which can interfere with this app.
If needed, temporarily turn off Zoom while using the app.

### 4/5 — fun app for when you can’t bring a kalimba

*2025-07-22*

The high notes are a bit plinky. It’s accurate, but I wish I had the option to hear non-plinky versions as well. Would also be nice to have an option to label the keys as numbers instead of letters. But hey, it’s free, and it’s the best chromatic kalimba app I’ve tried. :)

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for your review!
We’ll consider adding or adjusting tones for the higher notes, or possibly introducing an effect pedal option in the future.
Also, you can already switch the pin labels to numbers from the app settings: Settings → Appearance 1 → Display Style → 1, 2, 3 …
Your words “the best chromatic kalimba app” really mean a lot to us. Thank you so much!
