## What is Kalkan?

You tap Play and a new tab opens. You tap again and you land on another site. Getting to the video takes three trips back. Kalkan ends that.

PROTECTED BROWSER
• Pop-ups and pop-unders that open without your tap are blocked instantly.
• If a page tries to send you to another site without asking, it is stopped and you decide whether to go.
• Invisible click layers placed over the video are removed, so your first tap really hits Play.
• "Leave this page?" traps and links that throw you into the App Store are silenced.
• Pre-roll ads are skipped out of sight and the video then starts on its own.

FOR SAFARI
• Kalkan Content Blocker: blocks known ad and tracking networks before the page loads.
• Kalkan Protection extension: brings pop-up, redirect and ad-layer protection into Safari.
• Optional hiding of cookie and notification prompts.

FOR OTHER BROWSERS
Share any link to "Watch in Kalkan" from the share sheet and the same protection works there.

YOU ARE IN CONTROL
• Turn each protection on or off individually.
• The Kalkan tab shows what was blocked, as it happens.
• Your browsing history, the pages you visit and your personal data are never collected or sent to any server. All blocking happens on your device.

Note: logos or text burned into the video picture itself are part of the video and cannot be removed.

KALKAN PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION
Kalkan is free to download; an active Kalkan Premium subscription is required for protection to work.
• Weekly: renews every week
• Monthly: renews every month
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
