## What is KAM Recycling?

KAM Recycling is the mobile catalogue and quotation tool for professionals who buy, sell and process spent catalytic converters.

Look up any catalytic converter by its stamped part number or browse by vehicle brand, see exactly what it contains, and get a price that reflects today's precious metal market - not a guess.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Search by part number - type the code stamped on the converter and get the match instantly.
- Browse by brand - work through the catalogue by vehicle manufacturer when the code is unreadable.
- See the full specification - palladium, rhodium and platinum content per unit, ceramic or metallic body, weight.
- Get current pricing - every value is calculated from live precious metal spot prices, updated several times a day.
- Build a lot - add units and quantities to a cart and see the total value of the whole batch as you go.
- Send a sell request - submit the lot to KAM Recycling and get a response from our team.
- Track your requests - follow each submission through accepted, rejected or completed, with the full item breakdown kept for your records.
- Watch the market - live palladium, rhodium and platinum charts, so you can see where prices are heading before you commit a lot.
- Price anything with the calculator - enter metal weights directly and get a value, even for a converter that is not in the catalogue yet.

ACCOUNTS

KAM Recycling is a trade platform. Register from the app with your business details and our team verifies your account before it is activated. Verification is a check of professional status - it is open to any garage, scrapyard, dismantler or trader in the sector.

You can update your details or permanently delete your account and its data at any time from the Profile tab.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.8 — 2026-10-01

Catalyst pages show only the details your account includes. Details your account does not include are hidden instead of showing 0.00 g.

### 1.1.7 — 2026-09-26

On Android, reinstalling the app no longer locks you out of your account. Open this version once while signed in, and you can reinstall later without asking us to reset your device.

### 1.1.6 — 2026-09-25

The app now blocks screenshots and screen recordings, so prices stay inside KAM Recycling.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-09-17

Searching by brand works again. The brand list was failing to load and showed a sign-in error instead of the brands.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-04

Tier names, status labels, support details and the maintenance notice now come from our servers, so we can keep them current without asking you to update. When a newer version is out, the app tells you and takes you straight to the store. Metal Prices and the Calculator appear only on accounts that include them.
