Unfortunately, the experience has gone downhill. Now the app forces users to watch video ads, even though we already paid for the cameras. At the same time, the app itself has barely improved in years. The features and functionality remain largely unchanged, and the overall user experience is not good. It is very disappointing to buy multiple cameras and then have advertising forced into an app that is required to use the products. Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying Yi or Kami cameras or other products. **Developer response:** Thanks for your evaluation. We will try our best to help you out. ### 1/5 — Horrible app that wants your money *2026-08-12, version 4.9.2* There’s not even a button that lets you unsubscribe the service, and every time you contact support to cancel the subscription, you get an idiot response that tries to convince you to keep the service. I’m contacting apple to investigate in this. It’s against federal law to not provide customer a direct button to unsubscribe from the service. Horrible app! ### 1/5 — NO LIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND APP SUCKS !!! *2026-08-12, version 4.9.2* App sucks and all these payments plans My camera act weird and don’t work I try to reach them and they always says try restarting your device I had problems before with them charging me twice or three times without approving payment so make sure not to leave card info on there. Live view away from home does not work even if you play subscription . You have to watch an ad everytime you click on one of the cameras. My credit card company blocked them so when they pulled the same stunt this morning it was BLOCKED AND I was able to get a screenshot of the transaction attempt from them for $18.99 like they have done monthly for over a YEAR and denied it because it “doesn’t show up on the Apple account charges”. Apple would not do anything about it either for the same reasons. My credit card company is now filing fraud charges against this applications team for theft by Deception as they have taken over $220 in the last 12 months. $18.99 monthly and another $9.99 quarterly for “account service fees” because I complained about the same fraud happenjng and when I would call if they had to put on an “agent” the conversation would start out with “this agent is a 3rd party who is responsible for the final decision on this call. All his without even knowing why I was calling yet. The second I hung up my card was got nailed for $9.99 for arbitration for … Kami Vison LLC. WELL AVIOD THIS SCUM OF AN APP. if you made the mistake of buying The Kami cameras just know that a simple factory reset to them and they will pair to any Gemini app developer apps which are totally FREE. WHO BUYS A $100 camera only to have to pay $18 a month PER CAMERA just for 24 hr non continuous footage. It’s even crazier for 5 cameras for full footage like ring does. Zudem erfindet diese App alles an Problemen um dir ein Abo zu verkaufen z.b. soll angeblich meine SD Karte nicht mehr funktionieren, habe diese versucht zu erneuern und zu formatieren aber nach 1, 2 Tagen das selbe Problem. About 6 months ago ads started popping up. A few here and there but now it’s so horrible every click an add pops up. There’s even an add on the bottom constantly running and sometimes pops up and covers about half the screen. There are no other apps to use my camera with. After I was charged AGAIN in July, I sent another message to cancel my subscription only to get the same automated message. I said I did not want to pause my subscription and to stop charging me. This is August- 3 months from my initial cancellation request and they dinged me AGAIN for the monthly fee! My debit card expires next month so maybe that’s the only way I can actually get this to stop!
