This app is fantastic and really a hidden gem, it may not be aesthetically pleasing but it is definitely amazing considering it’s free

I had to go through a dozen or more different apps before finding this one - which shows me the NO SH*T stroke order and doesn’t mess around with stupid quizzes and doesn’t mess around with making me trace exactly the way the computer does or failing me. Thank G*D, finally some normalcy.

This app is wonderful! It has been so helpful in learning and practicing writing in Japanese.
I hope one day to see a feature that would allow the user to change the size of the characters so that they could practice writing at whichever size they feel comfortable.
I would also prefer and am happy to pay more for an app with no advertising.

I’m just not a fan of the app because it doesn’t have Chinese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I study Chinese not Japanese or Korean! I just want to learn Chinese!You recommend this app to my sister and not me! The app doesn’t really impress me.Please try to do other languages like Spanish and Chinese.Its like when I see boring clothes to wear and you do not want to see that version of me.

I wanted to tell you that this app is spot on with the matching romanji to the certain characters.  A few suggestions for users, getting it on an iPad and using an Apple Pencil helps memorize better, and getting one if those stick on drawing gloves so you don’t write where you don’t want too would also help!  For the developers, I may be wrong but doesn’t こ(ko) when it is written still have the little dash coming from the top stroke?  I’m not sure if I am correct, but if it does then please fix that! Overall, this is a wonderful app, and I hope it continues to be free for the broke college kids (aka me)!

Decent app for practicing how to write kana how ever they tell you to accent a set of letters that don’t exist so just be careful when learning using the app. I.e. J sounds are not done by using “tenten” but using digraphs instead. (ぞ is zo not jo, じゃ is jyo which is correct)
