## What is KanaFlip?

KanaFlip is designed to help you learn hiragana and katakana, the two writing systems every beginner needs before moving on to textbooks, grammar, and deeper Japanese study.

When we started learning Japanese, that first step was obvious: before anything else, you need to become familiar with the kana. KanaFlip is built for exactly that. It gives you a simple, focused way to study the core characters and start building recognition through repeated practice.
