smartphones. This app provides interesting facts on the temple’s rich
mythological significance. The temple of Goddess Kanaka Durga is one
of the most famous pilgrim spots located on the Indrakeeladri hills on the
banks of River Krishna. The Kanaka Durgamma app virtually brings the
images to life, rendering mythological stories appealing to all age
groups. Through a very interesting narration, the app takes visitors on a
virtual path to explore various legends associated with the temple.
The app powered by Augmented Reality (AR) gives a realistic
experience like never before. The app allows visitors to know the
mythological stories of the past in detail and at visitors’ own pace.
All one needs to do is download the app to explore the place with a
divine interactive experience. The app features several images that have
been digitally scanned. By scanning the boards placed at the temple,
visitors can explore the rich history of the temple via their mobile devices.
This informative app is an initiative taken by Sri Durga Malleswara
Swamy Varla Devasthanam, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It is
designed and developed by Digital Eyecon Pvt Ltd and Scintilla

How to use the App:
- Open the App and follow the instruction and Tap on Start
- It opens the camera then points your camera to AR Markers which are available in the temple Premises.
