تلویزیون کانال یک در سال  ۲۰۰۱  توسط آقای شهرام همایون با هدف ارتقا سطح فرهنگ و هنر جامعه ایرانی در سراسر دنیا تاسیس شد و هم اکنون به عنوان یکی از موفق ترین مجموعه تلویزیونی ایرانی خارج از کشور در حال فعالیت می باشد. ما در سال  ۱۹۹۸ با تشکیل یک تیم تحقیقاتی در باره سلیقه ایرانی گام هایی در راستای تولید بهترین برنامه های اجتماعی فرهنگی بهداشتی و خبری برداشته ایم که نتیجه آن ۳۰۰۰  نفر عضو فعال که حمایت مالی کانال یک را بر عهده دارند می باشد. کانال ما یک کانال جهانی می باشد که در آمریکا، کانادا، مکزیک، اروپا، خاور میانه و آسیا پخش می شود . ما تنها با یک زبان فارسی با مردم صحبت نمی کنیم. هدف ما ارتباط با قلب و فرهنگ درونی بیننده ها می باشد.
