## What is Kanbanier?

Kanban is all about visibility: managing your work in a visual and pleasant way. Kanbanier lets you create effective and easy to understand Kanban boards. Designed for iPhone and iPad, the sleek and modern interface makes your Kanban boards fit right into your device. Work in iCloud or offline, you stay in control of your project data; there is no web component, online registration or hidden fees.

In true Kanban fashion it does not take much to keep track. Add cards describing your work. Then drag and drop them across the columns of the board as the work progresses.

• Decorate your cards with colors and tags to add more meaning and highlight what is and isn't important.

• Set work-in-progress limits to balance workload.

• Save your boards in iCloud or elsewhere to sync with other devices or Kanbanier on Mac.

App looks like it has potential, and I always appreciate an app with the option to purchase a perpetual license. However, the free/trial version doesn’t have dark mode. Dark mode is an accessibility issue for many people. Wish I could try this app with dark mode before committing to a purchase.

I bought the premium with my laptop. However, it looks like I need to buy the premium on my apple phone as well? I’d like to use both devices as I’m always on the go. But in order for my apple phone to open the kanban doc, my phone needs the premium version. 

 Am I not logged into the same iCloud account in both devices? The same iCloud account that made $14.99 purchase. What gives???

I love the simplicity, ease of use, and compact layout of your app. I especially like being able to zoom out to view columns side by side.  Most kanban apps waste too much space and allow viewing of only one column at a time. 

One thing I'd like to request though is the ability to sort cards alphanumerically.

This is a great app and works well across my iOS 14.3 devices. There are just a few minor things that could be added to make it a little faster/easier to use but unfortunately I have been unable to contact the developer. This could be one of the most useful additions to my phone and iPad and the coding ‘feels’ solid and reliable which is notable on an app which hasn’t been updated in two years. Good stuff.

Because of little coverage by tech blogs and reviewers it took several hours of diligently going through the list of task management apps that offer kanban capabilities before I bumped into this. It took only a few minutes of using the free app to convince me to upgrade, which I did.  Lots of flexibility that is not immediately obvious and not covered in any of the online help files.  Surprisingly the images in the developer's old twitter feed provided much more information than the help file on the app's website. 

For me the most important feature is the ability to save the project file in one's chosen local directory (privacy!).  

All in all an excellent tool.  Hopefully, the developer will begin updating it again soon.

ps. I also purchased the upgrade of the OS X app that runs smoothly on Catalina.

Having paid for the premium version of the desktop app it’s really disappointing to note that I cannot even view those boards in the mobile app without paying for another premium upgrade. 

I’m afraid that’s now put me right off this app now as other similar services only expect a single *account* upgrade to enable premium features across all devices. 

Back to Trello for me then I guess.
