## What is Kangoo App?

Learn a language for real — and start speaking on day one.

Kangoo is a complete path in Italian, English, Spanish, French or Portuguese: 180 modules per language, A1 to C2, with real dialogues, guided grammar and native audio. A placement test puts you at the right point — you don't have to guess.

SPEAK, DON'T JUST MEMORISE
In the Training Arena you record yourself and get pronunciation scored sound by sound, word by word. For unscripted conversation, call John: he answers in audio, corrects what came out wrong, and never loses patience.

DON'T FORGET WHAT YOU LEARNED
Spaced review brings back the words you're about to forget, at the right moment — without drilling what you already know.

CONSISTENCY YOU CAN SEE
Day streak, XP and a weekly league. Add friends, compete in your level, see who studied most this week.

KIDS MODE, AGES 5 TO 7
Its own path, tap and voice only — the child doesn't need to read yet. Picture, memory and speaking games, with a celebration for every win.

Download free and take the first three modules, no strings attached.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-15

Friends from your contacts: the app matches your contacts with people already using Kangoo. The matching uses scrambled codes — your contacts never leave your phone and nothing is stored with us. It is optional.

Your phone now vibrates: on every answer, when you finish a lesson, and when you move up a level on the path.

On vocabulary cards you can read the sentence out loud and the app tells you if it understood. Recognition runs on your own device.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-14

German: a full course from A1 to C2, with voice and sound-by-sound pronunciation feedback.

The iPhone now gives haptic feedback when you answer and when you finish a lesson — you can turn it off in Preferences.

Fixes: the duel screen is no longer a stretched phone on desktop, and error messages now say what actually happened.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-09

You can now sign in with Google or Apple right in the app. Plus stability fixes.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-08

Portuguese is live: five languages with a full course.
The path grew from 90 to 180 modules per language, A1 to C2.
Kids mode redesigned, split by reading stage.
Four plans to choose from: Basic and Premium, individual or family.
John: correction on every turn, pronunciation score on demand, re-record.
Voice conversation more reliable on slow connections.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-31
