## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-03-07

1. Faster draw search:

  - New 2-step recognition: realtime first, then precise refinement.
  - Initial results appear much sooner instead of waiting for full heavy scoring.

  2. Better accuracy:

  - Improved candidate ranking using aggregated Vision confidence + rank + stroke-fit + frequency priority.
  - Shape matching is still used, but only on top candidates (faster and more stable).
  - Tiny/noise strokes are filtered before recognition.

  3. Loading no longer feels stuck:

  - Added strict timeout fallback (fast pass and precise pass).
  - Proper task cancellation on redraw, clear, and sheet close.

  4. Better draw-search UX:

  - New Search now button for immediate lookup.
  - Keeps showing current candidates while refining (Refining matches…).
  - Avoids rerunning search for unchanged drawings.
  - Helpful tip text added in the sheet.

  5. Verified:

  - Project builds successfully for iOS Simulator after these changes.
