It allows you to easily look up any kanji, but also includes the writing of the kanji as well as a comprehensive list of uses within words. It gives me a canvas where I can draw, in whatever order I want, the kanji that I need to search for. It has had a 100% success rate of finding the kanji I am seeking, regardless of the stroke order or whether I am writing the kanji poorly. I used to spend hours counting the strokes then looking up kanji with the number of strokes I counted on a wiki site. Nine times out of ten, if it was a complicated, multi-stroke kanji, I miscounted the strokes and it would take me eons to find the kanji I wanted. Not with this app. I draw the kanji to the best of my ability, and, voila, it appears. The app also lets you keep your favorites so you can refer to them in the future. Two thumbs up from me.
