## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Used to be a good app.

*2020-04-08, version 2.1.0*

It used to be a great app when I used it last year but now when I redownloaded it, I can’t even log in at all even with a correct username and password. I just get a “login failed”. Can this be fixed please?

### 4/5 — Good App!

*2017-10-04, version 2.0.0*

Very convenient! It would be better if you could choose an unlimited range of cards in the free review section. Overall, excellent app!

### 4/5 — Great

*2017-08-18*

It's a little slow, though I think that may have to do with kanji.koohii's API. Otherwise, the app is everything I would have asked for!

### 5/5 — Great app, friendly developer

*2023-03-16, version 3.5.2*

I’ve been using this app for over a year to help me learn Kanji using Heisig’s methodology. It’s a great app with clear design and a community that provides all the mnemonics you need if you can’t think of your own. Kanji are linked to Jisho for easy reference. Fabrice regularly updates the app and responds to queries and suggestions. Worth supporting via his patreon link. Just what an app should be like!

### 5/5 — Perfect for ipad

Ive been using it for years! Love the emojis when practicing

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2022-01-17*

The feature to free draw and compare kanji is much more practical than the strict stroke recognition software that other apps use. Thanks for creating this!

**Developer response:** Thank you!!

### 5/5 — Stellar App

*2021-07-03, version 3.3*

I have been using the RTK method (slowly) for several years now. Kanji ryokucha is an indispensable aid to this method. Kanji Koohii is a great web experience, but the app makes it easy to review on the go. The ability to hand-write kanji in the app is great. The fact the app downloads your learning “session” at the start means you can practice in areas with intermittent signal!

### 5/5 — The best complement to “remembering the Kanji”

*2020-06-16*

I seriously would not get through remembering the kanji book without this app. The spaced review is great and their website has so many great stories to help me and my middle schooler remember each figure. It has been more fun than I thought. I am not sure why this is free?

**Developer response:** It is free because it was a fun project to work on, but I may add a tip jar! thanks for your review ❤️

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-06-06, version 3.3*

Sometimes it’s difficult to find all the things available online but it’s amazing to review kanji!

### 5/5 — Made learning kanji a breeze

*2019-12-15*

Absolutely amazing app. Thank you!

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — It works!

*2018-11-12*

Just reading the book, I couldn’t remember how to write kanji. This app and the website really help me to remember. Especially the feature of the app that enable to write out kanji before flipping to check is huge help! Thank you for creating this app!

### 5/5 — Excellent with Heisig and kanji koohii

*2017-08-13*

Has been great to have this app on the go. Syncs up with the kanji koohii site and is great to learn kanji with.

### 5/5 — Good one

*2017-05-19, version 1.0.1*

Hope in future release to see also the stories! Very useful.
