## What is Kanji Scrolls?

Unseal hanging scrolls and discover the coolest words in Japanese.

Each scroll is sealed in cloth. Draw the blade, cut the seal, and a legendary word rises from the ink under a pale moon. The more cuts, the rarer the word.

FIVE TIERS
Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic. From Flame and Thunder to four-character idioms like Denko Sekka (quick as lightning), all the way to the mythic eclipse.

KNOW WHAT IT MEANS
Every word shows its reading, its meaning, and what each kanji means on its own.

REWRITE IT WITH A BRUSH
Watch the same word written again in bold brush calligraphy, stroke by stroke, in true stroke order.

YOUR NAME IN KANJI
Type your name and see it written with kanji that sound like it, each with a meaning. Michael becomes beauty, sea and flow.

WALLPAPERS
Save any scroll as a high-resolution wallpaper, framed by the moon and drifting ink mist.

Three scrolls are free every day. Watch a short video to unseal more.
