Only N5

I have a degree in Japanese and want to try this out to see if it will help my learning before signing up for a paid subscription, but the only kanji included are N5. Unfortunately useless for me.

Kanjidon lets everyone try all of the app’s features for free using the N5 content, while the higher JLPT levels are available with Kanjidon Pass. Even if you’re already at an advanced level, you can still experience the full gameplay: collecting cards, quizzes, battles, SRS review, achievements, community features, and much more. The higher levels provide the same experience, just with more advanced kanji and vocabulary. We’d love for you to give Kanjidon another chance. Great app

I think Kanjidon is a very engaging app. Lost a star as the writing for the character can be a little frustrating because it is not responsive to the user stroked, but I’m sure this can be fixed. Also some of the audio is
not that clear at times. Still well worth it.

Un’app diversa dalle altre per l’apprendimento. Il fattore carte gioca un ruolo importante, oltre al fatto che i quiz ed il metodo di apprendimento sono ben strutturati. Il team poi è sempre disponibile a rispondere ad ogni dubbio.

Super useful

I discovered the app on tiktok and immediately downloaded it. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks (I subscribed now) and I love it, it’s just what I was looking for as a beginner Japanese learner. Plus the support was super nice! I’m learning kanji in an engaging way that really works for me! Highly recommended

Gute App

Ich finde die Idee mit den Kartenpacks richtig super. Leider gibt es überall kleine Übersetzungsfehler. Katze wurde mit Kat im Deutschen übersetzt. Einige Optionen sind nicht ins Deutsche übersetzt. Und die Substantive in den Beispielsätzen sind größtenteils klein geschrieben. Zudem fehlt die Strichfolge für die Kanjis. Zwar kann man die Kanjis selbst nachzeichnen, aber ohne Strichfolge fehlt etwas. Aber ansonsten mag ich, wie gesagt das Prinzip, und würde mich freuen, wenn die deutsche Übersetzung präziser wird und die App dadurch nutzbarer.
