## What is Kanonu Events?

Kanonu Events puts a nonprofit's whole event in your pocket — find the event, hold your tickets, follow the fundraising, and (for event staff) run the door.

FOR GUESTS
• Discover — browse upcoming events with cover art, dates, and venues. Save the ones you love.
• Event hub — the agenda, speakers, venue and parking, sponsors, and live announcements from the organizer, all in one place.
• Tickets — look up your passes with your order number and email. Every seat gets its own QR pass, and you can send a seat to a guest — the pass is securely reissued to them.
• Silent auction — watch the bidding on every item. Follow an item and its live status lands on your lock screen and Dynamic Island: current bid, leader, and a closing countdown.
• Give — support the cause in seconds through the event's secure web checkout.

FOR ORGANIZERS
Event staff unlock organizer mode with their organization's sign-in:
• Live dashboard — gross, tickets sold, and check-ins as they happen.
• Door check-in — scan passes with the camera or search the guest roster. Every scan is validated by the server, and a pass admits exactly once.
• Seller leaderboard — see which members are selling.

BUILT FOR NONPROFITS
Kanonu Events is the companion app to the Kanonu Events platform (kanonuevents.com), where 501(c)(3) organizations run galas, golf tournaments, conferences, and fundraisers. Tickets, donations, and auction payments are always handled on the event's secure Stripe-hosted web checkout — the app never collects or stores card details. No account required.

### 1.6 — 2026-08-12

Event-night reliability, based on a full review of the check-in flow.

• Check-in now shows a clear "checking this pass" state while a scan is in flight, so a previous guest's result can never be mistaken for the current one.
• Faster, clearer messages when the network is slow or a door PIN is wrong — including when to stop and re-check rather than keep scanning.
• Refunded tickets now say so plainly instead of appearing as a normal pass.
• Transfers explain exactly why a seat can't be sent.
• Organizers: finished and archived events no longer clutter the event picker, and tournament dashboards show the real number of teams registered.
• "Email me my tickets" tells you honestly if the request couldn't reach us.

• Add your tickets to Apple Wallet — one tap from your ticket and your QR pass lives on your lock screen, ready at the door.
• Lost your order number? You can now pull up your tickets with just the email you used to register.
• Sharper event cover photos, plus fixes and performance improvements.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-21

Door check-in: event staff can now open a scanner using just the event code and that event's door PIN. No account or sign-in needed.

Organizers can switch between their events straight from the dashboard, without signing out and back in.

Ticket passes now show their ticket type and seat number correctly.
