Hopefully they fix it soon. Just downloaded the mobile app for the first time thinking it would be helpful to supplement my practice while on-the-go (when I don’t have my computer). I have an account with full access on my computer through a web browser, but when it comes to this app, it will not let me access anything past the login screen. I’ve tried my exact same username and password that I use for my web browser and the app bounces back to the initial login screen after I enter the correct information, setting me back to square one every time I try to proceed. So frustrating, please let me know when this is fixed b/c I see so much potential in the mobile app when I can hopefully actually use it in the future. ### 1/5 — Log In Doesn’t Work *2025-12-09, version 2.0.4* The app will not recognize that I have logged in. Every time I enter my username and password I get bounced back to the opening log in screen. Have tried restarting the app, re-installing it, everything. Nothing works. ### 1/5 — horrible app *2025-09-19* This app logs you out every time you reopen it and the interface is very clunky. Kaplan instructors suggest using their decks, but it’s literally just a worse version of Anki. For how expensive their resources are, you’d hope they’d have a dev team competent enough to make an app as basic as this one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this app at all. **Developer response:** Hi! To reiterate, when I select which course I would like to launch, I am only shown the video library options. I have already logged out and back in, deleted and redownloaded the app, and restarted my phone. The problem has persisted. Please help. **Developer response:** Hi, Adineol! When you get an opportunity, please reach out to us at kaplansocial@kaplan.com We appreciate your support! ### 1/5 — Doesn't Support My 2022-2023 Kaplan MCAT Course? *2024-06-08, version 2.0.1* The Kaplan website works perfectly fine for my 2022-2023 MCAT Course, however the app says that course is not yet supported on the app. I logged in to the app and it just shows my course as “unsupported,” which I found to be strange because the course is by no means too old for me to expect the app would be compatible. This makes me question if the app is only catered for the most recent year, or if they even plan to make my Kaplan course compatible with the app? There’s no message or details to reach out for support, there’s nothing to explain why the course is not compatible, and there’s nothing to say they’re working on it. Although I was really excited to find the app and be able to work on my MCAT prep on all my devices, learning my course wasn’t supported rendered the app useless. ### 1/5 — Unusable for 2024-2025 *2024-05-22, version 2.0.1* Why is the 2024-2025 self study toolkit still not supported in the app? ### 1/5 — Not just the app *2024-02-12* This doesn’t augment my review on the app, but the experience on Kaplan’s MCAT course is awful to say the least. The classes do not teach you anything besides common sense. The app is not helpful either. If on the off chance you can log in to the app, the flash cards might be the only beneficial aspect you gain from the experience. Either way, the flash cards are no replacement for even a third party member like anki’s miledown deck. Absolutely aweful app and party for preparing for the MCAT. **Developer response:** Hi! We appreciate your support! ### 1/5 — “Loading Data” *2024-01-28* I’ve tried to access my course on iPhone, iPad, and Mac but each time I log in it brings me to the welcome screen but says “loading data” perpetually and I am unable to access anything. Every time I put my log in credentials in, it loads then resigns out. I try to sign in and enter everything. Then it just takes me back to the home screen and prompts me to sign in again. ### 1/5 — Can’t Even Log In *2025-12-28* Tried 3 times, double checking each character in my email and password, still couldn’t log into the app. It would just bring me back to the login in page when it recognized the correct info. It is not giving me an incorrect information error, or any error! Just sends me straight to the login page with no other options. Only problem is I have to sign into my account every time I open the app, which is very tedious. I’ve updated it from 1 star to 3 stars because it no longer crashes like it used to. But not having the schedule makes it a pretty limited app. **Developer response:** Hi! We appreciate your support! ### 2/5 — Ok companion app *2026-01-29* Positives: custom quizzes, flashcards, review videos, simple to use Negatives: companion app only, no easy textbook access, no live session integration, no schedule access, quizzes do not properly resume after device sleeps for a minimal amount of time The most annoying part is that the app logs you out when it is closed, there could be an argument for security, but there should be an optional auto login feature. Please fix. ### 2/5 — Flash cards *2025-11-17* We should be able to see our calendar outline in the app but also the flashcards should have more customization options, at the minimum please add text size options as on iPad the text is very small for no reason, half my screen is wasted. ### 2/5 — No Study Plan *2023-06-20, version 1.0.2* It’s nice that I can access my other materials on the go, but I really would like to be able to see my study calendar/plan on the app too. ### 2/5 — Physical Keyboard needed to sign in on 12.9" M1 iPad Pro *2022-11-26* You’ll need a magic keyboard or a USB-C adapter for a regular keyboard like I had to use to sign in. First sign-in pulls a "corporate logon" menu where you have to sign in a second time. Tapping either the email or password boxes won’t pull up on-screen keyboard.
