The question No. should be “aOL263” or something that not available in the app. ### 2/5 — No MCAT online course support? *2021-01-08, version 1.5* This would be so useful but it does not support the MCAT online course. But this one doesn’t display question difficulty level any longer. And there isn’t any way to change font size. As a study tool, these are BIG deficiencies that need immediate fixing ### 5/5 — Great improvements *2020-06-25, version 1.0* This iOS application is much better than the previous version, I am impressed by the upgrades. It can be displayed horizontally or vertically. You can open the app with another app side by side. This is helpful for reviewing questions because you can open additional content for notes or explanations outside of the app. It also has the calculator feature, which is not present on the web version of the Kaplan Qbank. You also have the ability to highlight and cross out answer choices with the touch screen. I have not encountered any glitches or problems. It keep running into the issue that the website/ or app shut down all suddenly and said the account is not existing or something went wrong (even though my account is still active for the next 5 months) ### 1/5 — Too long reload and constant ask for relog in *2023-09-14* Ask for log in each time I minimal the app for safari or anything else, taking lot of time for reload after each time log in, keep saying app is updating even though I have downloaded the newest version and update it. If the questions are relatively the same, then there should be access to this app. This app needs to be updated ASAP so the Step 1 24 month Integrative Q-Bank is supported! ### 5/5 — So many improvements, great STRATEGY *2020-06-30, version 1.0* This version is much improved over previous versions both in terms of user friendliness and content. I love the review features most with the balance of in-depth review (extended explanations, embedded videos, and page references) and also quick reviews (re-Kaps and short answer explanations) so you can move at the pace that fits you at that time. The Strategy tab I review makes the app unique compared to other USMLE QBanks with strategic approaches to questions to help you identify various problems and address them to take you the next step further. It offers a a great simulation of Kaplan’s computer-based testing and tutoring materials for Step 1. You can easily customize your tests by subject, timing and tutor mode. I was impressed by the ease of reading each question on my relatively small phone screen. The explanations include embedded links to videos, which are very useful, and I have not experienced any glitches in loading answers or media. My favorite part of the app is the auto-pause function. If you need to set your phone down or if your screen locks for any reason, your test automatic all pauses and resumes when you reopen the app. This will be great to use on the go. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2020-06-25, version 1.0* It is easy to use and has great explanation for both the correct answer and the wrong answer. I really liked the video explanation attached to some questions. ### 5/5 — AMAZING for reviewing for USMLE Step 1 *2020-06-25, version 1.0* I have only used this once so far for step 1 but I think the way they've designed the app is amazing. LOVE the way it tells you of you changed answers from wrong to right. They give you both short AND detailed answer explanations and I especially love the "strategy" section of the review where it tells you how you should be approaching the questions. It also breaks down your strengths and weaknesses by organ system and discipline and gives you little graphs to see the information visually. It's very easy and intuitive to navigate and gives you the opportunity to practice your questions on the go. Love this app!!
