## What is Kapsul?

Kapsül brings medication reminders and calorie tracking together in one simple app. Take your meds on time, log meals with a photo, and see how your day is going at a glance. If you like, share your tracking with a family member you trust.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• Meal scanning: One photo is enough. Calories, protein, carbs, and fat are calculated automatically. In a hurry? Type what you ate and let AI fill in the rest.
• Medication scanning: Snap the box; name, dose, form, and purpose are filled in automatically. You can edit every field afterwards.
• Family: Share your medication tracking with people you trust. Connect with an invite link or a 6-digit code, then use caregiver and viewer roles to control in detail who sees what and which actions they can take. You can remove the connection at any time.
• Smart starter plan: For medications with a well-known routine, Kapsül suggests a schedule like "3 times a day, after meals". Accept it with one tap or adjust it.
• Multiple doses: Add a medication once and set separate reminders for morning, noon, evening, and night. Before or after meals, that's your call too.
• Interaction check: Check known interactions between your medications with a single tap.
• Reminders: Just tap "Taken" right from the notification. Every dose is logged to its own history.
• Dose Companion: Mark each dose as Taken, Snooze, or Skipped. Marked one by mistake? Undo it with a single tap.
• Daily health score: See how your day went in a single number.
• Statistics: Follow your calories, macros, and medication routine with weekly and monthly charts.
• Widgets: Put medication scanning on your home screen and see today's doses without opening the app.

WHY KAPSÜL

Most health apps get exhausting after a while. We kept Kapsül as light as possible: open it, check in, close it. Built for people who want to stay on track without obsessing.

PROFILE AND GOALS

Your daily calorie and macro targets are calculated from your age, height, weight, and activity level. Lose, maintain, or gain, you pick the goal. You can also set a custom calorie target manually.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

Sign in with one tap using Apple or Google, or start trying the app without an account. Your data is encrypted in transit and synced securely across your devices through your account. Unless you use family sharing, only you can access your data. You can permanently delete your account and all your data from the profile screen at any time.

PREMIUM

Premium raises your daily AI scan limit to 50. Free accounts include 3 scans per day. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store and can be canceled anytime.

This release is about reliability.

• Past days in Trends are complete now, including doses you marked on another device and doses a caregiver recorded through Family.
• Meals and medicines you log while offline are no longer lost; they upload on their own once you are back online.
• Fixed the problem where you were signed out on your own. Once you sign in, you stay signed in.
• Long-time users get their full history carried over to a new device.
• Deleting a medicine no longer changes your past adherence.

### 4.1.0 — 2026-08-06

Family 2.0 is here: family membership now has owner, caregiver, and viewer roles. You control in detail who can see what, which medicine details they can access, and what actions they can take.
With Dose Companion, mark each dose as Taken, Snooze 10 min, or Skipped, and track every time slot separately for medicines you take more than once a day. Marked a dose by mistake? Undo it with one tap.
If a family link doesn't check in on a dose in time, a privacy-focused reminder can be sent, respecting the grace period and quiet hours you set.
Plan suggestions are clearer now, showing step by step who approves them and when they take effect. A trusted caregiver can prepare a plan draft for you, but it never applies without your approval and separate activation.
The Family screen is simpler now: set access with three ready-made presets, and see the activity log for your family connections.

Improved in-app usage measurement: technical improvements so we can better understand which features help you and improve the app accordingly. No new type of data is collected.

Forgot to log a meal? You can now backfill it — either by picking a date when adding a meal, or by tapping any past day in Insights.
Adding a meal now surfaces your own recent meals as quick picks — tap once to add with the same calories and macros as before.
You can now edit a saved meal's name and type too (previously only its calories/macros were editable).
Fixed-duration medicines (e.g. a 7-day course) now automatically drop off your daily list and stop reminding you once they're done.
Fixed the adherence and streak math in Insights — it now works correctly whether you only track medicines, only track meals, or both.
Swiping to delete a meal or medicine now asks for confirmation first, so you can't lose data with an accidental swipe.
Medicine rows now also show the dose amount and meal timing (before/after eating), not just the name and time.
Simplified the Today screen: your next medicine dose now leads, and the scan shortcuts are combined into one compact card.
Expanded screen reader support and improved text size accessibility settings compatibility across the app.
Numeric keyboards now have a "Done" button to dismiss them; marking a dose taken or completing a scan now gives subtle haptic feedback.
