## What is Kara Kaplı Defter?

Kara Kaplı Defter is built to reduce — and even eliminate — your dependence on paper, pen, and the computer. Using the phone that's always within reach, it lets you track your income and expenses, appointments, and accounts, and report on all of them at any time. Every piece of data you enter into Kara Kaplı Defter is stored ONLY on your phone. As a bonus, Kara Kaplı Defter also includes tools that any small business or tradesperson might need: discount calculation, weighted average maturity calculation, and live currency and gold market data — along with a few surprise engineering calculations designed for specific installation jobs.

Payment & Collection Reminder
Record your upcoming payments and collections in Kara Kaplı Defter, filter them, and export PDF reports. Let Kara Kaplı Defter remind you on the day, so nothing slips your mind.

Appointment Tracking
Save your entries in the notebook and see when, to whom, and for what you gave your word. Your notebook is always with you and accessible at any moment.

Account & Service Tracking
Unlike complicated, cumbersome, and expensive bookkeeping software, Kara Kaplı Defter keeps things simple and gives you just as much as you actually need. With the photo attachment feature, you can add an image of a receipt, document, check, or promissory note to any entry.
And with the Extra Filtering feature, it's easy to group your recorded account activity, generate a PDF report tailored to that group, and share it. Being able to hand anyone who asks an instant account statement is a real advantage.

If you wish, you can also record and keep an eye on your personal spending in Kara Kaplı Defter.
