## What is Karanta Kids?

Karanta (Hausa: “to read”) is the home of FREE original illustrated stories that nurture curious, creative, and courageous kids while instilling a lasting love of reading.
Weekly, we release new stories for children growing up across Africa and the African diaspora, created by writers and illustrators who know these worlds well. Enjoy all the categories children love, including adventures, culture and heritage, bedtime, and more.
