I loved the app- it was interesting, intriguing and exciting. However if I had known about the payment at the end, I would have been more than willing to give it. It never even says the price until you get to the very last acceptance of payment. Be aware of it- but a good app aside from it ### 5/5 — Awesome *2016-12-01* It is an amazing apps. I agree that the individual sessions/episodes should be longer. However, I am answering all of the questions with complete honesty and curious to see where it goes. I waited a ridiculous amount of time just to see if anything changes but nope. Too generic *2017-07-20, version 1.7* This won't give you any information you can't get doing several of the less formal personality quizzes floating around. As a coach she is infuriatingly obsessed with telling you about her life, something that makes the process much MUCH longer and less professional than it should. If I was paying a life coach to help me and she spent this much time telling me about her love life I would fire her. We are here to work on my goals right? Furthermore the program promotes a very unprofessional attitude for a life coach who asks about her dress choice and personal problems. Who coaches in a terry robe?! My friend & I also did it together and there is zero variation to Karen's actions or questions. No life coach would be so generically formulaic. As a psych student I don't think Karen is useful for anything beyond the superficial. But a lot of the questions are about sex, which isn't really helpful, and after two run-throughs, at the end, she just leaves. No answers, no final analysis at all. So I think this is a joke app - the programmers are gathering rather personal data and either using for their own purposes or just having a laugh at whoever tries the app. Bottom line: it's bogus. There is no life coaching at all. Don't bother, it will just waste your time and frustrate you. ### 1/5 — Aggravating *2016-07-07* She would be really rude even if I am honest or not doing anything wrong and it's just annoying. I thought this app was supposed to Change with my answers? Also the sessions are way to short for the wait. It's not even worth it. Wouldn't recommend at all. ### 1/5 — Failed Potential *2015-09-25* I loved the idea at first but it's so poorly executed it lets itself down. It bases itself in a world of black and white for example, one question asks about a partner or close person yet there's no option that's specifies there isn't one. I chose the closest one and it still asks me to answer questions about them. It rendered the whole exercise pointless, embarrassing and a waste of time. I am not aware of anything quite like it. I have experienced Karen multiple times and was happy to see this rereleased. Anyone thinking about watching needs to understand that this is not an app about life coaching. It is an interactive drama about a 40ish therapist living somewhere in the UK. We see glimpses of Karen’s life over a period of time and must fill in the gaps ourselves.
