## What is Karl?

Karl replaces note-taking in meetings. Open it, tap record, and talk — the transcript streams in live, and when you stop, a structured summary (overview, key points, decisions, action items) writes itself. Everything happens on your device: nothing is uploaded, no account is created, works offline.

Stronger crash protection for your recordings:
• If Karl ever stops mid-recording — even a force quit or crash — you now get a notification within about a minute, and the recording (all but the last few moments) is recovered as a meeting next time Karl opens.
• Automatic language detection is more accurate: Karl now checks which language the opening words actually are, not just how confident each model sounds.
• Stop & Save is more robust: no duplicate meetings from a double tap, and a stuck transcriber can no longer freeze saving.
