'KSP Mobile App' is the official mobile app of the Karnataka State Police. The App is available both in Kannada and English languages. The App offers the following services. 1. The App facilitates any citizen to notify any of their trusted contacts via SMS, regarding an emergency they are in through the SOS button. The App also has the ability to share the location of the sender to their trusted contacts, if their phones are enabled with GPS. 2. The App provides access to certain police services to all the citizens, from Karnataka State Police. The App allows citizens to a) know the nearest Police Station and the jurisdiction Police Station with its contact number and location. Navigation-link is available via Google maps to reach the Police Station; b) report non-emergency incidents via the App to any of the Police units in Karnataka along with attachments like photos, videos, documents and audio files; c) find out the address, contact number, location and e-mail id of any of the police offices in Karnataka; d) look for details of any missing person reported in Karnataka; and, e) push notifications from Police will be available to citizens regarding important events. Each of the Police Control Rooms in the Commissionerate / District Police Jurisdiction will be responding to the complaints. The issues notified by citizens would be automatically acknowledged with an SMS along with report number for future tracking. They’ll threaten you first and then ask to come to the station and give a written complaint.
