This just started recently. ### 2/5 — Needs more work *2025-07-28, version 1.83* I’m on iOS 18.5 and the app becomes unresponsive after clicking on a few option in the main screen. You have to be standing right next to the vehicle for the app even recognize the vehicle. Also the lock and unlock no longer works. I used to love the app, but no longer use it as the parts I loved are gone. ### 5/5 — Towing notification rocks! *2025-05-16* So I got this system more so for my security, if something happened I’d get money back (this is different from GAP from what the girl said) anyway, but honestly it comes with really cool features. It allows me to modify if I want alarm on or off, sound on or off and if something or someone hits my car I get notifications sent to my phone. It’s awesome. My FAVORITE tho has been the towing notification. It literally saves my life. I live in LA and it’s always packed, no parking and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, and I did but when they tried to mount my car I got a notification, was able to go out to my car in a giffy and was able to convince the guy to leave my car. AGAIN best thing ever! If you don’t have it - get it! From one LA girl to another. ### 5/5 — Help me find my car *2025-05-16* I love this thing haha. I literally go to Disney all the time or like baseball games at dodger stadium (GO DODGERS!!) and I would always loss my car haha. Now I love that this system has an app that helps me not only locate the car but also am able to open maps and it directs me to it. My sense of direction is horrible, his helps sooo much. Thank you KARR. ### 5/5 — Phenomenal security system *2025-05-08, version 1.83* Love the App functionality, the immobilizer helps make me feel a piece of mind knowing my car won’t be taken even if broken in. ### 5/5 — Excellent customer service. *2025-05-08* We only just installed the system, but already appreciate the attentiveness and help with got from our representative. Our dealer waited too long to get the activation processed so I called KARR directly and did it over the phone. The first install didn’t process on my end and she scheduled a tech for first thing the next morning. Later in the day when we tried to start our truck, it wouldn’t turn on! So right there I knew, “well at least we know it works and no one can steal the truck unless they tow it!” When we called back our rep was so patient and reassuring, and we went through the entire installation process again and this time it worked. I hope to never need their services due to theft, but appreciate the time they took to resolve the error and not have us wait for a technician to come out the next business day. ### 5/5 — Great app *2025-04-17, version 1.83* Worked great for finding car after my kids took it with permission. This most recent update tries to log in every time you open the app. In pervious it did not do this and was a functional app. Please recode the old app and bring it back. When I don’t have internet in a car park it doesn’t log in and when I do have dodgy internet it takes a while to connect. Then if you leave the app open, it stays vehicle is out of connection range.. when in fact it’s not the case. At the start it will make you sign then only will it search to connect to the car. Waste of time. Shock sensors detected nothing and alarm didn’t go off. KARR security takes no responsibility for their faulty system. Do not use them. Save your money and protect your property and get a 24hr monitoring camera. Far cheaper and you’ll actually have protection. Update for the companies reply: I already called your support and you told me you’d do nothing. Stop trying to save face on open discussion platforms. It’s hot in Alabama, but Jack often rides along with me for errands. I put him in the car, turned on the AC and started refilling my window washer fluid. Jack accidentally locked himself inside, the heater was on to de-fog the windshield, and I couldn’t find my spare. After waiting for AAA for almost an hour, I noticed the “KARR Security” sticker on my driver side window, remembered about “that app that I never use”, unlocked the car, and saved my little pup. I was at a café, charging my phone, and got distracted for a moment. Suddenly, I saw someone eyeing my charger. But, thanks to Karr Security’s anti-theft feature, the app instantly sent me an alert as soon as the charger was unplugged, giving me just enough time to grab it back. It was like having a digital security guard on standby! Super intuitive and a lifesaver.
