## What is Karta?

Karta turns the business cards your company collects into a shared team asset.

• Snap it, read it
– Detects several cards in one photo, crops each one and fixes the perspective
– Reads name, company, department, title, phone, email and address automatically (Japanese and English)
– Review and correct before saving, and add the back side too

• Share only with the right people
– Per-card privacy: only me, my team, or my team until a date
– Every new card starts private
– Duplicate cards of the same person are detected

• Organized by company
– Cards and contacts grouped by company, with profile and logo
– Search across 14 fields, favorites, categories and sorting

• Your digital card
– Show your digital card and contact QR code on the spot
– Save and share as vCard

• And more
– vCard/CSV import with preview and duplicate check
– Cards you have opened stay available offline
– Available in English, Japanese and Portuguese

A Karta account (business subscription) is required. Companies using KOREOS sign in with the same account.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.11 — 2026-10-26

Safer batch scanning: every card read is saved right away as a draft, so nothing is lost if the app closes or the connection drops; up to 10 cards at a time, with a result for each card. Also: Settings in tabs and 7 languages.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-10-19

New: introduction email for bulk registration too (several scanned cards or imported contacts) — choose who receives it, see who has no email or already received it, and follow the result for each contact.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-10-18

New: create your free account right in the app («Create a free account» on the sign-in screen) — up to 50 cards, 1 user, automatic sign-in when it is ready. Terms and privacy open inside the app.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-15

The Save button now stays visible while editing with the keyboard open (scanned card review, card and company editing). Dragging the screen closes the keyboard. New: a What's new screen after each update (Settings → What's new).

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-02

Notifications: plan (expiry and payment), plan-limit and system notices, with a new Notifications screen to choose what you receive. Signing in with your KOREOS account and recovering your password are now simpler.
