## What is KartGarage?

KartGarage is the all-in-one garage for kart racers. Keep every kart, setup, part and maintenance job organized, dial in carburettor jetting from live weather in seconds, and import a session from your lap timer to see where the time actually went.

YOUR WHOLE GARAGE, ORGANIZED
• Manage multiple karts with engine, chassis, and category details
• See live status and history for each kart at a glance
• Add photos so every kart is easy to identify
• Export a kart as a backup or a readable report, and import it on another device

A SETUP FOR EVERY CONDITION
• Save dry, damp, and wet setup presets
• Switch the active setup in a single tap
• Track how setups perform over time

DIAL IN JETTING IN SECONDS
• Weather-based recommendations for main jet, clip position, and air screw
• Uses temperature, humidity, pressure, and altitude
• Pull conditions where you are, or name any circuit — search it or drop a pin — and the hour you will run
• Send the result to whoever holds the spanner, conditions and all
• Richer and leaner alternatives when you want a safety margin
• An hourly forecast showing the exact hour your jet needs to change
• A spark plug heat range for the same conditions, from your engine's own ladder

SEE WHERE THE LAP TIME WENT
• Import a session from AiM XRK, Unipro UNI/TSV, RaceBox CSV or GPX
• Every lap timed from GPS, with best lap, consistency, top speed, max RPM and head temp
• Place the start line and the splits on the track map, then read sector times off it
• Save a track once and everything you log there stays comparable
• Compare two laps and see exactly which stretch cost you the time
• Draw speed, RPM, head temp, cornering g, braking g or altitude along the lap
• Every session keeps the setup that was on the kart and the weather it ran in

QUICK MATHS FOR THE PADDOCK
• Sprockets and speed: ratio, rollout, top speed and the curve, per engine
• Chain length: links for a sprocket pair at your real centre distance
• Sprocket equivalence: match a ratio using only the sprockets you own
• Fuel mix: oil for a tank at your ratio
• Measure your rear tyre once and every speed on screen follows it

CATCH WEAR BEFORE IT FAILS
• Track part life by engine hours
• Manage a parts warehouse and know what's fresh
• Log tyre sets and keep an eye on their condition

ARRIVE RACE-READY
• Maintenance reminders on time or engine hours, across every kart
• Your mechanic's checklist by trigger, ticked kart by kart
• Plan race day events with a packing checklist built from your warehouse
• Build shopping lists per kart so nothing is forgotten
• Search for a part online from the list, and keep a link to the listing you chose
• Share the list, or only the lines you pick, as plain text

KEEP YOUR GEAR LEGAL
• Track helmets, suits, gloves, boots, and rib protectors
• Store the homologation standard, number, and validity dates
• Get warned before anything expires

BUILT FOR THE PADDOCK
• A guide you can open and search any time, with step-by-step help for the jobs that cross several screens
• Fast, clean light and dark themes, both readable in daylight
• Works fully offline, so your data lives on your device
• Available in nine languages

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.2 — 2026-09-18

ROUTINES
The checklist your mechanic keeps, grouped by when you do it: on arrival, before every session, after a wet session, after the last race. Make the groups your own, drag them into your order, tick them through the weekend kart by kart, clear the ones you mark for the next run, and send the lot to whoever is helping you.

WRITE DOWN A ONE-OFF REPAIR
A cracked side pod or a sheared screw goes on the kart's maintenance list as a one-off repair, with no interval to invent — and a new job starts as a repair, so writing one down takes a name and nothing else.

THE KART SHOWS WHAT IT IS BEHIND ON
A kart's card in the garage and its maintenance row count the jobs waiting on it, not only the parts that are worn. Swipe a job to the right to tick it off.

TELEMETRY IN YOUR UNITS
Speed, distance and altitude on every session, chart and comparison follow the units you chose in Settings: mph, feet and miles, or km/h and metres.

HOURS-BASED JOBS SAY WHEN THEY ARE DUE
A task that runs on engine hours shows the meter reading it is due at and the hours run since it was last done. It turns overdue on the kart, on Lists and on Home once that reading passes, and a job written down without a completion measures from the meter as it read that day.

EVERY SESSION AND EVENT NAMES ITS KART
A telemetry session, an event and a kart's own telemetry list all say which kart they belong to, so two karts under one tent stay apart. With one kart in the garage, a shopping line goes on that kart.

KARTGARAGE IN TURKISH
Türkçe joins the eight languages the app speaks. Pick it in Settings, or let the phone's language choose.

BUG FIXES
- A full tyre set mounted over a front and a rear pair takes both off, and the dialog names every set it replaces.
- A part demounted to Inventory keeps its hours when it is fitted again.
- A new tyre set with no cycles on it is not listed under Needs attention.
- Correcting the engine meter down while keeping part wear never records a negative install reading.
- A kart the form cannot fully resolve can still be renamed.
- The jetting calculator opens with the kart tile whole and Calculate always in reach.
- Opening another tab from Home slides in like any other screen, and a swipe from the left edge follows your finger back.
- The add-task sheet keeps Save in reach with the keyboard up, and the interval boxes let go of the keypad.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-09-10

FULL-SCREEN CHART, TWO LAPS AT ONCE
Tap the expand button above a session's chart and the map and chart take the whole screen. Pick any channel, then "Pick a lap" to lay a second lap over the first — from the same session or another day at the same track: the gap in seconds sits beside the readout, red where the lap you are looking at is behind and green where it is ahead, and the gap itself can be the trace. The figures above the map now belong to the lap you selected, with "Whole session" one tap away, and the lap picker scrolls through as many laps as you recorded. Pro.

RECEIVED THE MOMENT IT ARRIVES
A shopping line can be marked received as soon as it arrives, whether or not you want it on the shelf. "Add to inventory" is a separate step: offered when you mark the line received, always in the line's menu, and available for a whole selection at once. Each card now shows the one step its line is waiting for. The shelf is called Inventory everywhere in the app.

EVENTS: PLACES YOU ALREADY KNOW
The location field suggests your saved tracks, the places from earlier events and anywhere on the map as you type. Every event card has its own menu, so you can edit or delete an event without opening it, and a newly saved event opens straight onto its checklist.

JETTING ON HOME
A Jetting tile sits on Home beside Telemetry and opens the calculator in one tap. The shortcut tiles are solid colour now, and "Customise" still lets you put them in any order.

TYRES AT A GLANCE
Heat cycles are counted with a stepper right on the tyre card, Mount is the filled button, and a mounted set wears a badge naming the kart it is on. Tyre rows on small phones show the whole compound name.

BUG FIXES
- Pro switches off when your subscription ends.
- Deleting a kart removes everything that belonged to it, and the dialog lists what goes.
- The free limits are shown with their numbers.
- An error while saving or deleting reads as a plain sentence in your language, and dates follow your language's format.
- Lists refresh on their own after a change.
- A maintenance interval in hours can be typed with a decimal point.
- Faster start after an update.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-09-01

JETTING FOR A TRACK YOU HAVE NOT REACHED YET
The calculator only ever asked what the weather is here, now. Name the circuit instead — search it, or drop a pin on the map — and the hour you will be on track, and it works the jetting out for there and then. Useful the night before, when the van is half packed and the meeting is three hours away.

ONE ANSWER INSTEAD OF TWO CARDS
The main jet and the spark plug come out of the same air, so they are one block now rather than two cards a screen apart, with the conditions they assume printed beside them and the confidence figure above. Apply to Setup says what it is about to overwrite before you tap it.

THE SAFETY NOTICE STAYS
The jetting notice could be dismissed permanently, and nothing anywhere brought it back. It is part of the screen now, on every tab, and it opens the full text along with the two warnings that used to be buried — lean running, and what too hot a plug does to a piston. There is also a copy in Settings under Legal.

SEND THE RESULT
Share on the jetting result sends the fitment to whoever is holding the spanner: engine, carb, jet, plug, needle and clip, with the conditions it was worked out for. Plain text, so it lands readable in any chat, and the safety line travels with it.

HOME SHORTCUTS YOU ARRANGE
The shortcuts are squares now, each showing the one figure worth a glance — days to the next race, parts overdue, lines still to buy. Telemetry leads. Drag them into the order you want from the Customise tile.

TELEMETRY AND SETUP
Sector times sit in columns under S1, S2 and S3, and the fastest sector of the session is purple the way a timing screen has always said it. On the gearing graph, the same ratio on the next front sprocket up or down is spelled out, with a way straight into the equivalence tool.

SHOPPING
Share sends what you are looking at to whoever is ordering; tap Select on a group heading to send only part of it. A line can hold a link to the listing you chose. The In warehouse group starts folded, and the free limit counts only what you still have to buy.

NOW IN EIGHT LANGUAGES
KartGarage is translated into Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Dutch, alongside English and Polish. It follows your phone, or you can pick a language of your own in Settings.

FIXES
• Rotax DD2 Pre-EVO: any carb build other than the default was given the leanest main jet in the range, and a clip three positions lean with it. Corrected. If you run a DD2 Pre-EVO, check the numbers against what you were given before.
• A named place now brings its altitude with it, instead of leaving your own.
• The keyboard no longer covers the field you are typing in on the place, engine, carburettor and part pickers.
• Photos taken in landscape are no longer squashed into a square.
• Backing out of a screen opened from Home animates instead of jumping.
• Tapping a card's ⋮ on Lists no longer pages the hub to the next tab.
• Polish: the preset summary and the overdue count are translated rather than printed as stored English.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-24

TELEMETRY: YOUR LAP TIMER, IN THE GARAGE
Import a session and see where the time actually went.
• AiM XRK, Unipro UNI/TSV, RaceBox CSV and GPX
• Every lap timed from GPS, with best lap, consistency, top speed, max RPM and max head temp
• Place the start line and the splits on the track map, then read sector times off it
• Save a track once and everything you log there is timed against the same line, so the lap times stay comparable
• Compare two laps. The track turns red where the slower one lost time and green where it gained, and the app names the worst stretch
• Draw speed, RPM, head temp, cornering g, braking g or altitude along the lap, with a cursor that reads out the value at any point
• Every session carries the setup that was on the kart and the weather it was run in, looked up for that place and hour
• Add the session's running time to the kart's engine hours if you want it, measured from RPM rather than off the clock
• Sessions group by circuit, and each heading carries that circuit's best lap

Telemetry import and lap analysis are part of Pro. Nothing that was free before has changed.

GO AND FIND THE PART
Shopping items now know which part they are, so KartGarage writes the search phrase and takes you to it online: a web search when you have a part number, or the kart racing parts category on the marketplace.

A MANUAL, NOT A TOUR
The one-off walkthrough is gone. In its place is a guide you can reopen and search any time: how the app fits together, step by step for the jobs that cross several screens, and a glossary of the words this app uses in its own way.

HOURS AND MINUTES, TYPED PROPERLY
Engine and wear time is a plain hours + minutes pair everywhere now, and the keyboard can finally type the format it shows. Every text field also has a way to put the keyboard away again.

A LIGHT THEME THAT HOLDS UP OUTDOORS
Status colours, labels and cards were reworked for daylight, so the app stays readable at the circuit. Wear bars now move when the number behind them changes, so adding engine time shows its consequences instead of just a different screen. Reduce Motion turns that off.

FIXES
• Completing an hours-based maintenance job now restarts its hours clock, not just its date. Before this, a job set to "every 20 hours" read as fine forever once you had done it once.
• Buying Pro from the prompt now carries out the action that asked for it, instead of dropping it.
• The Wet filter searched the weather text for rain, so it hid Snow and Thunderstorm. Every weather condition is now translated as well.
• Stock and Telemetry filter from one panel that stays put, instead of one that scrolled away or hid itself with a filter still applied.
• Compare picks a lap by session instead of scrolling a wall of text.
