## What is KartGarage?

KartGarage is the all-in-one garage for kart racers. Keep every kart, setup, part and maintenance job organized, dial in carburetor jetting from live weather in seconds, and import a session from your lap timer to see where the time actually went.

YOUR WHOLE GARAGE, ORGANIZED
• Manage multiple karts with engine, chassis, and category details
• See live status and history for each kart at a glance
• Add photos so every kart is easy to identify
• Export a kart as a backup or a readable report, and import it on another device

A SETUP FOR EVERY CONDITION
• Save dry, damp, and wet setup presets
• Switch the active setup in a single tap
• Track how setups perform over time

DIAL IN JETTING IN SECONDS
• Weather-based recommendations for main jet, clip position, and air screw
• Uses temperature, humidity, pressure, and altitude
• Pull live conditions for your track with one tap
• Richer and leaner alternatives when you want a safety margin
• An hourly forecast showing the exact hour your jet needs to change
• A spark plug heat range for the same conditions, from your engine's own ladder

SEE WHERE THE LAP TIME WENT
• Import a session from AiM XRK, Unipro UNI/TSV, RaceBox CSV or GPX
• Every lap timed from GPS, with best lap, consistency, top speed, max RPM and head temp
• Place the start line and the splits on the track map, then read sector times off it
• Save a track once and everything you log there stays comparable
• Compare two laps and see exactly which stretch cost you the time
• Draw speed, RPM, head temp, cornering g, braking g or altitude along the lap
• Every session keeps the setup that was on the kart and the weather it ran in

QUICK MATHS FOR THE PADDOCK
• Sprockets and speed: ratio, rollout, top speed and the curve, per engine
• Chain length: links for a sprocket pair at your real centre distance
• Sprocket equivalence: match a ratio using only the sprockets you own
• Fuel mix: oil for a tank at your ratio
• Measure your rear tyre once and every speed on screen follows it

CATCH WEAR BEFORE IT FAILS
• Track part life by engine hours
• Manage a parts warehouse and know what's fresh
• Log tire sets and keep an eye on their condition

ARRIVE RACE-READY
• Time- and usage-based maintenance reminders
• Plan race day events with a packing checklist built from your warehouse
• See what's due across every kart before a race weekend
• Build shopping lists per kart so nothing is forgotten
• Search for a part online straight from the shopping list

KEEP YOUR GEAR LEGAL
• Track helmets, suits, gloves, boots, and rib protectors
• Store the homologation standard, number, and validity dates
• Get warned before anything expires

BUILT FOR THE PADDOCK
• A guide you can open and search any time, with step-by-step help for the jobs that cross several screens
• Fast, clean light and dark themes, both readable in daylight
• Works fully offline, so your data lives on your device
• Available in English and Polish

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-24

TELEMETRY: YOUR LAP TIMER, IN THE GARAGE
Import a session and see where the time actually went.
• AiM XRK, Unipro UNI/TSV, RaceBox CSV and GPX
• Every lap timed from GPS, with best lap, consistency, top speed, max RPM and max head temp
• Place the start line and the splits on the track map, then read sector times off it
• Save a track once and everything you log there is timed against the same line, so the lap times stay comparable
• Compare two laps. The track turns red where the slower one lost time and green where it gained, and the app names the worst stretch
• Draw speed, RPM, head temp, cornering g, braking g or altitude along the lap, with a cursor that reads out the value at any point
• Every session carries the setup that was on the kart and the weather it was run in, looked up for that place and hour
• Add the session's running time to the kart's engine hours if you want it, measured from RPM rather than off the clock
• Sessions group by circuit, and each heading carries that circuit's best lap

Telemetry import and lap analysis are part of Pro. Nothing that was free before has changed.

GO AND FIND THE PART
Shopping items now know which part they are, so KartGarage writes the search phrase and takes you to it online: a web search when you have a part number, or the kart racing parts category on the marketplace.

A MANUAL, NOT A TOUR
The one-off walkthrough is gone. In its place is a guide you can reopen and search any time: how the app fits together, step by step for the jobs that cross several screens, and a glossary of the words this app uses in its own way.

HOURS AND MINUTES, TYPED PROPERLY
Engine and wear time is a plain hours + minutes pair everywhere now, and the keyboard can finally type the format it shows. Every text field also has a way to put the keyboard away again.

A LIGHT THEME THAT HOLDS UP OUTDOORS
Status colours, labels and cards were reworked for daylight, so the app stays readable at the circuit. Wear bars now move when the number behind them changes, so adding engine time shows its consequences instead of just a different screen. Reduce Motion turns that off.

FIXES
• Completing an hours-based maintenance job now restarts its hours clock, not just its date. Before this, a job set to "every 20 hours" read as fine forever once you had done it once.
• Buying Pro from the prompt now carries out the action that asked for it, instead of dropping it.
• The Wet filter searched the weather text for rain, so it hid Snow and Thunderstorm. Every weather condition is now translated as well.
• Stock and Telemetry filter from one panel that stays put, instead of one that scrolled away or hid itself with a filter still applied.
• Compare picks a lap by session instead of scrolling a wall of text.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-19

A NEW TOOLS TAB
The Calculator tab is now Tools, and the jetting calculator has company:
• Sprockets & speed — ratio, rollout, top speed and a speed-vs-rear-sprocket curve, per engine. KZ gearboxes draw every gear; the DD2 lists all seven legal gear pairs.
• Chain length — links for a sprocket pair at your real centre distance
• Sprocket equivalence — match a ratio using only the sprockets you own
• Fuel mix — oil for a tank at your ratio, with the makers' published figures

Every tool reopens on your last values, and you can enter your own rear rolling circumference so every speed on screen follows the tyre you actually run.

A SPARK PLUG ADVISOR
The jetting result now recommends a heat range for the conditions, worked out from the same air density as the jet so the two can never disagree. Ladders come from the engine maker or the series — Rotax MAX EVO and pre-EVO, IAME X30, Vortex ROK — with Denso's iridium range alongside. Classes with no established figure get no guess.

JETTING THAT READS THE AIR PROPERLY
• Altitude now changes the answer. The calculator asks whether your pressure is a sea-level forecast figure or a reading taken at the track, because only one of them sets air density.
• Humidity goes in as the pressure it physically is, instead of a flat multiplier that could swallow a jet size or invent one.
• Clip position and air screw follow the same corrected pressure.
• The hourly forecast names the plug alongside the jet.

STOCK AND SHOPPING
• Filter parts by All, In stock, Mounted or Worn out
• Parts fitted to a kart are findable from Stock and tap through to that kart
• Identical spares collapse behind a count instead of scrolling as unrelated cards
• Long-press shopping items to select several and change their status at once
• Tyre and gear photos load far faster

FORMS THAT FIT ON A PHONE
Add and edit sheets now ask for what makes the thing and fold the optional half — price, notes, photo — behind one row that names what is inside. The save button stays on screen with the keyboard up.

FREE AND PRO
The free tier now includes five jetting calculations a day. Adjusting a calculation you just ran is not charged as a new one. Setup presets past three per kart, saved tracks past the first, and the before-and-after comparison in setup history are Pro — your history itself is never hidden.

FIXES
• Gearing assumed a rear tyre larger than a kart rolls on, so every top speed read about nine per cent high
• On a warm day the plug advisor jumped two heat ranges at once; IW29 is back on the ladder and NGK 9 now reads as IW27
• Back from a part opened out of Stock returns to Stock in one tap
• Part wear is only asked for once you have typed an hour meter reading
• Polish text filled in on the shopping cards and the tyre wear bar

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-10

RACE DAY EVENTS
Plan a race weekend end to end. Create an event with its date, track, and kart, then build a packing checklist from your warehouse or with custom items. Watch your packed progress, add the event to your calendar, and share the checklist with your team.

GEAR HOMOLOGATION
Keep helmets, suits, gloves, boots, and rib protectors on file with their standard, homologation number, and validity dates. KartGarage warns you before anything expires — no more surprises at scrutineering.

A REBUILT JETTING CALCULATOR
• A step-by-step form that only asks for what it actually needs
• Results split into Setup, Through the day, and Alternatives
• Recommends clip position and air screw, not just the main jet
• Support for Rotax DD2 and Pre-EVO carburetors
• An hourly "jet through the day" forecast with per-parameter charts (Pro)
• Set a reminder or a calendar entry for the hour your jet needs to change

BACK UP AND MOVE A KART
Export any kart as a JSON backup or a readable text report — setups, parts, history, maintenance, and photos included — and import it back on another device.

A CLEANER LOOK
Redesigned dark theme with a neutral, Apple-style palette, red accents by default, and consistent contrast everywhere.

FIXES
• Jetting no longer overcorrects for humidity
• The cursor no longer jumps while typing weather values
• Parts saved with a "None" reminder are handled correctly
• Praga and Intrepid are now grouped under IPK
• Fixed a crash when upgrading from a very early version of the app
• Filled in missing Polish translations throughout

Thanks for racing with us — feedback is always welcome.
