## What is Kas Wallet?

Kas Wallet is a self-custodial wallet for the Kaspa network. Your recovery phrase is generated on your device, encrypted, and stored in your iPhone's Keychain. There is no account, no email, no phone number — and no one can access your funds but you.

Kas Wallet connects only to a public Kaspa node (for balances and broadcasting) and a public price API (for market data). It never sends your keys, your phrase, or any personal information anywhere.

Kas Wallet 2.0 is a full rebuild of the wallet around five tabs: Wallet, Activity, Merchant, Market and Settings.

• Multi-wallet — switch, add, rename and delete wallets from the toolbar, with per-account switching.
• Merchant mode — enter an amount, show a payment QR and watch it clear. A till in your pocket.
• KRC-20 tokens — your tokens appear on their own, with live prices, charts, supply and a detail screen for each one.
• Market — price, chart ranges, supply and volume on one screen.
• Coin control — choose the exact outputs a transfer spends from.
• Receive — every derived address with its balance, and a fresh address after each payment.
• New first run — a short intro, then create or restore, then an optional Face ID step.
• Universal import — 12 to 24 word phrases with passphrase and custom paths, legacy Kaspa desktop seeds, watch-only addresses and raw private keys.
• Send — live fee presets, storage-mass aware fees and a spend password on every transfer.
• Light and dark themes, and Liquid Glass on iOS 26.

Fixes: recovery phrases with a passphrase now derive correctly after a relaunch, the testnet setting is real, fee rates come from the network, and large balances read with thousands separators.
