It’s long overdue a revamp! ### 1/5 — Poor App for a paid for accounting package *2021-11-10* Really quite poor for a paid for accounting package. The app lacks depth, is not user friendly/difficult to use on a phone. Last time I spoke with the sales team (when the bill went up!) they assured me that KashFlow is under constant development… yet there’s been absolutely no improvements to the app. ### 1/5 — Not worth having the app *2021-08-06* I have used the KashFlow web version for a good few years, and whilst it’s not perfect, it works. The app however is worse than useless. Pretty much all you can do is look how much is in your bank account and see who owes you and who you owe. I can’t believe you can’t do more in the app when most things nowadays (rightly or wrongly) are app based - like my personal and business bank account. Come on KashFlow - try to keep up! I’ve deleted this app. ### 1/5 — Needs an overhaul *2021-02-24* I have been using Kashflow for a number of years on my laptop. I was really pleased when I saw this app but disappointed with the lack of functionality when trying it out. I was hoping to add purchases and invoices and mark them as paid on my phone. This can’t be done, so I’ve deleted it. Great idea but poor in practice. 😟 ### 1/5 — Kashflow falling further behind *2020-07-14* Been with Kashflow for many years. Initially looked like the one to back! Gradually finding it more frustrating year-by-year and functionality actually gets worse over time. Try using Kashflow on an iphone for example. Many fields simply disappear! They are there but you can’t see them. Meaning if you accidentally touch the screen in the wrong place you delete things. I have reported these issues to Kashflow so many times as I do want to keep using them ... no change! So I was happy to see a purpose-built app. So unimpressed by this app and all the comments seem to share this view. Sort it out Kashflow. Listen to your customers! ### 1/5 — Pitiful. Can’t wait to move to Xero. *2020-07-13, version 1.2.1* Like the rest of KashFlow this is pathetic and limited and poorly done. We are moving to Xero, I can’t wait. ### 1/5 — Great idea - awful app *2020-04-02* I’ve had a KashFlow account for a couple of years now and while the desktop version is easy to use and the support network is very good, this app is awful. By comparison to other accounting apps this needs a lot of work. As a tradesman, the idea of sending invoices on the go is great but the practicality of it with this app is nil. I do hope it’s something that will get looked at, you only need to see the ratings and reviews on other packages. Sadly the app doesn’t warrant a single star but I’ve had to put one for it to register. ### 1/5 — Kashflow Go - A Laugh *2020-03-18, version 1.2.1* This is the worst possible creation of an App to compliment a reasonably decent Web product. Any Finance Manager needs to see their Financial year to date and Purchases in the summary view Go back to school Kashflow ### 1/5 — Completely and utterly useless *2020-02-20, version 1.2.1* This is a disgrace! How does this enable a user to operate or update an existing KashFlow account? I will soon become a former KashFlow customer ### 1/5 — Can’t mark invoices as paid, and ‘Help’ section doesn’t work *2019-11-06* Unless I’m being a complete dummy, I can’t even add payments to invoices - this seems incredibly useless in this case. I can’t even find help in the help section - no matter what is typed, it shows no help items at all. ### 1/5 — Needs a major overhaul *2019-09-29* Has been left for far to long, needs a major overhaul. Very basic mobile version. QuickBooks is superior in every way. Stick to the web version and save your time. ### 1/5 — Very poor app *2018-12-05* As a new startup mobile engineer I am looking to have an app that reflects the desktop software... very primitive looking and minimal operation... Kashflow go and Kash mobile apps seem very similar and in my opinion forgotten... version numbers seem low and many others seem to report issues ... if major changes don’t happen soon I will be looking to a better account software ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Awful App *2026-04-03, version 1.2.1* This app stinks of a company not wanting to support its own product! It’s a complete waste of time. ### 1/5 — Utter Rubbish *2025-11-28* Disappointing to find that the supposed ‘new’ version of the app is every bit as hopeless as the old one. You can’t even enter purchases on it!!!! Also payments can’t be added to invoices. Which was fine- I presumed it was an add on to my fairly expensive business account. Then I realised they’d started charging me £15.99 per month on top for. None of it is worth that much- cancelled and moved on to another invoicing package ### 1/5 — Can’t enter purchases *2023-05-25* Well that was a wasted download, you can’t enter purchases nor view purchases in each supplier. ### 1/5 — No updates for 3 years! *2022-12-17* Think carefully about committing to this. The app is awkward and there seems to be no interest to improve. They just keep taking money. Their latest huge subscription increase is the final straw. For a cloud app it’s very poor. I don't have to rush back to the office to send my invoices now and I can find out how much money is in my accounts without having to call my accountant. ### 3/5 — Time to move on *2021-12-06* Had KashFlow for 3 years will be moving as I only use the phone app as it’s easier than lugging my computer around. It won’t add purchases or mileage now . They had said use the desk top whilst the faults are repaired brrrr…. I’m going elsewhere. Been 5 weeks . I was quite happy doing my stuff on excel then some idiot at HMRC came up with the idea of making small business use the cartel of online software. ### 3/5 — Still needs work *2019-07-24* After using this App for a short time, the thing that I still find the most annoying, it that there is no screen rotation for the iPad. You are therefore forced to use the soft keyboard ### 3/5 — Could be useful, not there yet *2018-06-14* I like addition of Touch ID, so much easier to use the app now. One thing it really needs though is a way to mark invoices as paid (if this is a feature I haven’t been able to find it yet). I’d also like to be able to input my purchases on here too. It’s useful for creating invoices, but by no means a replacement of the website. ### 3/5 — More interactive *2018-02-09* You can’t do enough, I can’t mark invoices as paid unless I’m missing something, it needs to be more like its site ### 3/5 — Nearly there *2017-06-22, version 0.1.2* People are being super-critical. It's much much better than the previous app, looks good and is easy to use. But it does desperately need Touch-ID and an expenses tab. I'm never going to write an invoice on the road, but I'll input expenses many times a day, so that's a vital update please! ### 3/5 — Ok but needs improvement *2017-05-10, version 0.1.2* Not a bad start but the login procedure needs to be improved, I use a very complex password so Touch ID would be ideal and support for password managers like Lastpass.
