I appreciate the not too difficult UI, because I’m a novice at sound design and I’ve been trying my hand at creating my own patches in Kaspar. I took one star off, however, because there seems to be a bug, which, if you’re doing sound design, is fairly significant. The sound is muted for some of the synths when they are put in solo mode. Pretty frustrating. I hope the developer sees this review. I’m using an iPad Pro 6th generation. ### 4/5 — Super sounds *2023-10-22, version 1.1* Sehr guter Ansatz, aber auch eine große Herausforderung für die CPU. Not working as Auv3 in cubasis internal track *2023-09-12* Hello where are you I have to inform that Kauldron and KASPAR both app does not follow program change msg as Auv3 in cubasis in internal track From external is working but when I draw a program change msg on track both apps do not follow Please fix it ### 1/5 — Fed back that the FX chain is not working - no response. *2022-11-25, version 1.1* A lot of the functionality of this synth simply is not working. I also had issues where ‘Roxsyn’ another app of Yonac’s did not work properly, and that was a week or more ago. No response to that either. No acknowledgement of receipt even of the support request, nothing. In short: iPAd M1 12.9” and using GarageBand mostly, but also standalone, NONE of the FX chain can be made to work. Other functions too are apparently inoperable. Nothing in the user guides to suggest there’s some secret special way of making things operate, so here we are. I hope they can sort it, then this review can be amended. I’m mostly going to use it for the presets because of this. ### 5/5 — Very (very) Deep *2022-03-21* It’s hard to say enough about this synth. I’m not going to repeat all that’s in the description but I believe it’s all accurate. In a way, it’s a testimony to how powerful a platform iOS has become because this Synth is immensely capable. Three true independent oscillations per layer (and they’re really synths of their own, not layers) with Omni stackable effects gives you extraordinary sound shaping possibilities. Ok, I said I wasn’t going to repeat the description and I just did. But I can’t imagine a hardware synth being able to do this so simply (I have a Moog One and this can produce sounds that easily rival it - and that synth cost me $8,000).
