## What is Kaudal?

Kaudal splits your household's shared expenses fairly. Family, flatmates or any shared home: what's fair for each member, at a glance.

TWO MODELS, ONE GLANCE
Should everyone contribute in proportion to their income, or pool everything and get the same back? Kaudal computes both models at once and shows them side by side, so your household can pick whichever feels fairest — and compare them any time.

SINKING FUNDS, NO SURPRISES
Variable and annual bills (electricity, the February gas bill, property tax) become a monthly provision: cheap months build a cushion, so the spikes don't hurt. You type the annual amount; Kaudal budgets it and rolls the surplus over month after month.

SHARED-EXPENSES BALANCE
Who paid for dinner? Log everyday expenses, tag them by event (the trip, the move) and settle up with the minimum number of transfers.

CLEAN MONEY
Beyond each member's contribution, Kaudal shows how much is truly left for each person after shared costs and savings.

YOUR HOUSEHOLD, IN SYNC
Invite the other members with an iCloud link and everyone sees and edits the same household. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, with widgets and a Live Activity. You can keep several separate households in the same app.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No accounts to create, no third-party servers, no ads: your data lives in your iCloud.

What's new in the shared expenses balance:

• Unequal splits: set an exact amount for anyone on each expense and the rest is split equally.
• Partial payments when settling up: every suggested transfer has an editable amount; record what was paid and the rest stays pending.
• Export the full balance to CSV (expenses, splits and settlements) to open it in Numbers or Excel.

Filter the balance by dates, plus more reliable sync:

• Pick a date range on a calendar to see only that period's activity; balances stay the same as always.
• Expenses added at the same time from several devices no longer overwrite each other: they are combined and everyone sees them.
• An expense added right before closing the app is saved and synced the next time you open it.

New expense alerts:

• Get a notification when someone in your household adds a shared expense, with the detail (“Ana paid €47.00 — Gas”).
• On iPhone and iPad the alert arrives even with the app closed; several expenses in a row are grouped into a summary.
• No duplicates: each expense is announced once, across all your devices.

• Filter the history by month, in addition to by event, and combine both filters.
• With a month selected, the event subtotal shows that month only.
