## What is Kaunta?

Japanese counters are one of the trickiest parts of the language, and you need them every day. 
Kaunta makes them easy to learn and impossible to forget.


LEARN
Start with the 19 essential counters every learner needs, then expand to 84 total covering people, animals, flat objects, long objects, machines, buildings, time, and more. 
Each counter includes 10 example phrases with readings in hiragana and romaji.


DRILL
Three practice modes adapt to how you learn:
• Smart Mode focuses on your weak spots automatically
• Exceptions Mode targets irregular readings (like ひとり and ふたり for 人)
• Random Mode for general practice

Answer by typing in Japanese or choosing from multiple choice, Kaunta accepts hiragana, katakana, and romaji input.
