A joke of a platform. *2026-04-05, version 1.0.4* Subscribed for the first time and got this app less than an hour ago. App crashes incessantly. Can't find a "continue watching section" so at least I can try to start from when I stopped before it crashed. The same movie that crashed a few min after play, when I try to play it again it says "The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format". I have tried a couple of other movies and it's the same error message. Is this a joke? Unlock access by upgrading at www.kava.tv” why can’t I use the app? Very unpleasant experience ### 1/5 — App never works *2026-06-22, version 1.0.4* This app is extremely frustrating to use. AirPlay rarely works properly, and most of the time the content either won’t load or stops playing altogether. It’s difficult to watch anything without running into technical issues. For a streaming app, reliable playback should be the bare minimum, but unfortunately this app falls far short. The user experience is poor, the performance is inconsistent, and it makes watching content more stressful than enjoyable. I love the app and the movies on it. I’m truly entertained every time I settle down to watch. The movies are recent, well produced films and not just random low budget movies. And fast forwarding is not always a seamless process, that one too has it’s own issues ranging from being super slow to ‘fast forward’ or not even working at all sometimes. also why do i have to log in every time i open the app on my tv???????? If you pause sometimes too, you will have to log in again. These things are incredibly frustrating pls. I haven’t used kava in months because of these issues and i might as well cancel my subscription until the issues are fixed. You guys are on the cusp of something great for Nigerian streaming; but pls fix the issues. ### 2/5 — Rewinding/Fast-fowarding/Signing In on Smart TV’s *2026-05-25, version 1.0.4* These are all now major problems on the tv app - You want to sign in, you go through a long process with your phone everytime! You pause one day and come back to rewind the next, and it takes you all the way to beginning. You fast-forward, play and rewind again (because you want to get all the details, right?), and there you at the beginning of the movie again! Kava team, please fix these!
