## What is Kayak Flow?

Know when to paddle. Invite someone along.

Stop cross-referencing tide tables, weather apps, and current charts to figure out if it's worth going out. Kayak Flow does that work for you — combining tides, currents, wind, and weather into a single 10-day picture, matched to your comfort level, at your launch site.

When a run of gold stars is forecast for a Saturday morning, you'll know it before you've had your coffee. Text a friend. Make a plan. Find your best day on the water.

FIND YOUR WINDOW
Set your own comfort thresholds for temperature, wind, gusts, rain, and current speed. Kayak Flow checks every hour of the next 10 days against all of them and marks the good ones with a gold star.

Scroll the tide chart to move through the forecast. Tap any hour to see the full picture: tide height, current speed and direction, wind, gusts, cloud cover, and precipitation, plus high and low tides and sunrise and sunset for the day.

If your launch site has a beach that turns to mud at low tide, or loses access at high water, set those limits and the app factors those limits in as well.

LET THE APP DO THE WATCHING
Opt into a morning notification and Kayak Flow checks conditions at your launch site and lets you know when good windows are coming up. It tells you which days look best and reminds you again four days later so you don't lose the habit. If you stop using the app, notifications stop automatically.

It's the nudge that gets you out of the house and onto the waters you love.

ALL YOUR FAVORITE PLACES
Save as many launch sites as you paddle. Each one links to a nearby NOAA tide station, with an optional current station for speed and direction data. If you're at the water, create a launch site and the app finds nearby stations automatically. Planning ahead? Search stations to enter a location in advance.

Tide and weather data are available for any NOAA-covered coastline in the US. Current speed data is most reliable in Puget Sound, where NOAA gauges are numerous and well-positioned for surface paddlers.

YOUR DATA NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE
No account. No login. No one harvesting your preferences or selling your paddling habits. Everything you set — your launch sites, your comfort thresholds, your settings — lives only on your device.

Tide and current data comes from NOAA. Weather data comes from Apple WeatherKit. Kayak Flow puts it all together for you, locally, on your phone.

BUILT FOR PACIFIC NORTHWEST PADDLERS
Kayak Flow was built by and for coastal paddlers in the Pacific Northwest. It is best suited for kayak, canoe, and SUP paddlers who get out on coastal waters where tides, currents, and wind matter.

Please note: Kayak Flow uses forecast data from NOAA and Apple WeatherKit for general planning reference only. It does not provide navigation guidance or safety recommendations. Conditions can change rapidly and may differ from forecasts. Always verify official sources and exercise personal judgment before launching.
