### 3/5 — Reminders

*2026-01-20*

It is very frustrating that the person signed into app has to be logged in attendance wise for the reminders. Our admin logs us out attendance wise if we leave the classroom for a break or to do other breaks and the person in the classroom cannot see the reminders. It is cumbersome to log out and log in because it does not happen fast. It lags. The reminders should just be there for the people on duty in the classroom.

When kids are transferring to another classroom they should be able to take photos and be able to send with out hoops to figure out how to send outside of home room.

### 4/5 — Great Program!

*2025-10-14, version 7.1.1*

This is my 2nd year using this app. I love how it’s organized and how easy it is to fill in data and receive an easy to share report. I’m still learning and look forward to see all that the app and program have to offer as I continue my user experience.

### 4/5 — Daycare worker

*2025-10-11, version 7.1.1*

We use this app through my work and I’m very happy with it. It’s easy for staff to use and it’s even easier for parents. It’s also great to be able to easily communicate with parents throughout the day using this app. It does occasionally crash which is a little frustrating however it’s never long enough to effect how we do our jobs

### 4/5 — helpful and not always efficient

*2025-10-11, version 7.1.1*

The app has been very helpful in my head start classrooms. However, I have struggled with parent connectivity.

### 4/5 — Enjoyable app

*2025-10-09, version 7.1.1*

I have enjoyed using the Kaymbu app for documenting childcare. It was a little bit of a learning curve compared to tadpoles or brightwheel. However I feel like it is more detailed and is able to create more documentation options for teachers to be able to share with parents. Say goodbye to paper documentation 🙌

### 4/5 — Teachers Assistant

*2025-10-08, version 7.1.1*

I enjoy Kaymbu for communications with families and keeping in touch.

### 5/5 — Great App for The Providers and Parents

*2025-10-08, version 7.1.1*

I’m a childcare provider and using Kaymbu app for more than 5 years. This app has become my friend to communicate with parents. Using the app is super easy and fast. It save time that you need to give attention to your students and track there progress. The parents who are using Kaymbu app says it’s easy for them and they love the way we send their children’s reports by using this app. Thank you Kaymbu, you make my day easier ❤️

### 5/5 — The Best!

*2025-10-08, version 7.1.1*

Kaymbu is so easy to use and so informational for teacher and parents! So many different wonderful aspect and helpful early childhood education!

### 5/5 — Kaymbu on my IOS

*2025-10-08, version 7.1.1*

I am a preschool director that uses this app everyday. I have 6-10 teachers that use it as well. We use this app to do our COR, lesson plans and communicate with our families. We have been using this app for about three years. We have had a few issues that have been resolved in a timely manner without delays in our everyday work. Our families get to use the app on their end in their home language so it allows us to communicate without a language barrier.

### 4/5 — Great app- please let us edit and add photos after sending!

*2025-10-08, version 7.1.1*

The app is very convenient, especially when uploading photos and videos. However, I do wish you could add a photo to an observation after sending it. Many times I’ll forget to upload the picture or video to an observation and I need to make a whole new one. If we can edit the date, observation, and everything else, I don’t understand why we can’t edit/add a photo after sending as well. Other than that, the app makes taking assessment data easy!

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2025-10-08, version 7.1.1*

5+, easy to use, user friendly, parents love it. I find this helpful to share information with parents.

### 5/5 — Tremendous Tool

*2025-10-07, version 7.1.1*

Kaymbu is a tremendous tool that has proven to be a valuable asset to our preschool!

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2025-10-07, version 7.1.1*

I have been a teacher 8 years and now using Kaymbu for 3 years and it only ever gets better!

### 5/5 — Educational

*2025-10-07*

I use Kaymbu for my classroom each year and I enjoy being able to have it not only on the computer but also having the flexibility to have it in my phone wherever I might be inside the classroom or out side on the playground or whatever we might roam. The app is easy to follow, and easy to use for children and staff counts, CORE reports and so much more!! Yes it sometimes has a flaw with signing kids in and out but it’s very rare and doesn’t bother me at all. Fixes itself right away when you close out and refresh the app.

### 5/5 — App

*2025-10-07, version 7.1.1*

I’ve been using this platform for about 6 years and I’ve never had an issue with it. It is very easy to maneuver and teach others how to use it

### 4/5 — Good

*2025-10-07, version 7.1.1*

Love the app and how you can directly upload pictures to your memories and assign for advantage ratings. Wish it showed percentage complete like on a laptop/desktop.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t Use This App

*2026-06-12, version 8.0.2*

I’ve been using g school apps for many years and this is one of the worst apps! Not user friendly. So many glitches and horribly difficult to navigate.

### 1/5 — Honestly awful

*2025-10-15*

Been using it over a year now and still hate it. MAKE IT SO YOU CAN CONNECT PHOTOS WITH ACTIVITIES!!!! WE MISS TADPOLES!! We recently got this app in the childcare center that i work. Tadpoles was much easier to use and takes a lot less time to add in diapers, bottles, sleep checks etc. There are too many tabs in Kaymbu-to have to constantly keep going back and forth through daily sheets and action tabs makes it feel like we are on the app too much during the day when we have 8 babies to care for. Also, the app keeps messing up the logging of naps. The app needs to have a dashboard where we can easily see and everything from one screen. Make it so you can add things when their daily sheet is open! This app really makes everything so much more work for teachers!!

### 1/5 — Disappointing app

*2024-08-22*

I wanted to wait at least a week of using this app before writing a review. We already had negative feelings transitioning from a different platform.

There are a few positive things we have learned about this app, however, the negative outweighs the positives. Overall, it’s not teacher/user friendly. There are way to many steps involved for a simple task. If you worked in childcare you would know what items need to be in the main menu for quick references rather than going through hurdles.

There are other platforms that offer better features and are easier to use. From a parent’s perspective it might seem like a good app, but from a users position it is way too difficult to use while managing a school/classroom.

### 2/5 — Awful

*2026-04-30, version 7.1.1*

My daycare switched from Tadpoles to Kaymbu and I have to say, awful awful downgrade. The app is constantly glitching and freezing, if you have kids in your class from a different classroom..you can’t see their profile to contact parents if necessary, doing progress reports for any child under the age of 2 is lengthy and unnecessary, and some of the lesson plans are jus ridiculous, no 1 year old should be using any sort of electronic device in a school environment.

### 2/5 — Assessment input

*2025-10-07, version 7.1.1*

The app itself is easy to navigate, but I don’t like the fact that I have to input some thing under an assessment category for a child. There are times where either we haven’t observed that from a child or we haven’t done it yet. It would be nice if there was a haven’t witnessed this from a child option or something like that. Because having to put something makes that assessment inaccurate.

### 2/5 — Not a fan

### 2/5 — Not bad, but not great

*2025-01-10*

A few improvements that would be helpful from a teacher’s point of view:

-being able to sign a staff member into the classroom without having to log the first staff member completely out of the app and signing the 2nd staff member in. Very time consuming.

-teachers initials next to activities such as diaper changes, bottle feedings and meals on daily sheets. This improves teacher/family communication.

-allowing teachers to be able to instant message with parents

-tagging photos to activities in the lesson plans so they show up on daily sheets next to the lessons.

-exact age of child displayed next to their name. (example: 18 months, 2 years & 3 months, etc.)

-allowing teachers to be able to see all other staff & children attendance lists in the school

- more storyboard options such as more background patterns or stickers or frames.

Please, please make these changes. It would be so helpful!!! When will the app be updated again?

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2023-10-04*

So if you have a teacher that is gone for the day or on vacation and you have their kid , you can’t take pictures. You can’t do much if a child isn’t your actual student. Not to mention that when nap happens and a teacher goes on lunch and you are in ratio because it’s different during nap it says out of ratio. Did they not think of this at all? Very frustrating that you can’t see each classes student numbers because when it’s time to leave and we have to push kids we have to call .

### 2/5 — 😟

*2021-05-04, version 6.1.0*

Why do we need to be on a computer to do upload photos at the end of the day to families. It makes it much easier when everything is on the phone. This is annoying. 🥴
