I patiently waited but now 18 months later still no fix. Pointless using your dash cams when you have no access to them for setup or view. The worst of it is that you have to enter a long string of characters every time you use it, just to connect. Everything actually works fine…. KB support will also tell you this, but just make sure when you connect to your camera, that you turn off your mobile data while you’re using it. App you must make sure you type in KBRSERIES ECT ECT the same as the wifi name in settings ### 5/5 — Great app to use with the dash cam *2017-12-23, version 1.0.4* The app is great, super easy to navigate and it connects immediately to the dash cam wifi. Video delay is minimal and it maintains a high picture quality when moving the cam around. Very impressive app when used with the cam, highly recommend this product/app. ### 5/5 — Good *2017-08-30, version 1.0.4* Update to have the MPH stamp on the video instead of Km/H is available on the Kaiser Baas website and only took a couple of minutes to install/upgrade. Videos are easy to access and observe either on the phone or computer. Previous reports that only 10 seconds of video is available is only for a saved "event", all video is available (dependant on size of SD card) on a loop and is very good quality. I have the R40, and have also bought the R50 for another car (due to fitting configuration). Wiring into the car was very easy. The App is very easy to use, and shows all saved events and all of the last videos in segments. 3 minute segments join smoothly so nothing is lost. Would be useful to be able to turn off the speed from the saved video display (an extra option in the settings for speed unit?) as you do not always want it there. ### 4/5 — Finally working again *2022-04-23, version 1.0.6* Thanks for having the decency to ~FINALLY~ update this app so it can work on newer iOS releases.. Knowing what the issue is, surely the developer can fix it. ### 3/5 — iOS update issue fix *2020-03-02, version 1.0.5* I had issues connecting my R50 dashcam to my app. Spoke with KB support and here is the fix: Thanks for your response. We have made some changes to app to be compatible with the new iOS. Due to that, you will need to connect the app to the dash cam a bit differently. Please follow the below instructions: Once you have connected your phone to the dash camera's WiFi network, please ensure you take note of the complete network ID/name of the dash cam's WiFi network Go to the app and connect it to your dash cam When you see the 'Connect Dash Camera' screen, please manually enter the complete "KB-RSERIES-xxxxxx" that you have copied from your phone's WiFi settings page Click 'OK' Please ensure you enter the dash cam's WiFi network ID/name exactly as how you see it on your phone's WiFi settings list, including the correct capitalisation and the dashes. If continue to have issues doing the above, please let me know.
