It has always been my go to news station. Today they failed to air our country’s president’s speech. I’m extremely disappointed and don’t think they will be my go to news station in the future. KCRA, you should be ashamed!! ### 3/5 — App resets *2026-06-29, version 5.15.2202* KCRA I read your app multiple times a day. This is my favorite news app. The only 2 complaints I have is how often the app resets to the top is when I’m scrolling through the app looking at the articles and suddenly it goes back to the top of app. It does this every few seconds. The other complaint is when I click on a news story from your notifications it deletes the other news story from the notifications. Only thing is all of the AD’s. Weekends are the worst. Are the story writers all given the weekends off? For example I may receive a pop up alert and if I don’t click on it quickly enough I have to go to the app to locate the story and it’s not always there, certainly not front and center. Plus the ads are too frequent and too many. Assuming this had been some kind of mistake, I turned it back on - and immediately began getting literally 100s of notifications a day. After a couple of annoying days, I went to the settings and changed it so I would only get breaking news alerts. Yeah…apparently THEY get to decide what you want to see, not you. Unless a story about a the history of a local parade is what they consider “breaking news”, I am still getting all the same nonsense notifications as before. Almost every single article starts with the opening sentence then ….where is the rest of the story? I’ve tried to email KCRA several times to let them know the majority of articles are missing the story but nothing has been changed. Guess I’ll look for a different app to get NorCal news. ### 1/5 — Right wing *2025-02-01, version 5.15.1601* I’m tired of this Sacramento Maga news organization they’re so right sided they love spilling Trump’s lies when they could actually leave out the lies and put the truth in, but they love putting the lies in there news. There is NO SPECIAL COUNCIL! He just invented that to clear himself! He is a criminal and a FELON! And needs to be imprisoned - he can be tried like everyone else would be! But it’s becoming beyond difficult to read an article lately. The ads are all over the page and I can’t even read the news articles anymore. Compound this with suddenly it’s even hard to tell if it’s a news article or a paid ad.
