## What is KDMLink?

KDM Link — Real-Time CAN Bus Telemetry for Hyundai N Vehicles

  Turn your phone into a live performance dashboard for your Hyundai N car. KDM Link connects to the N-Link
  Bluetooth device installed in your vehicle and streams real-time data straight from the CAN bus.

  Live Telemetry Dashboard
  - Engine RPM, vehicle speed, and turbo boost pressure
  - Coolant temperature, oil temperature, and intake air temperature
  - Accelerator position, brake pressure, and steering angle

Tire & Battery Monitoring
  - Live TPMS readings for all four tires
  - 12V battery voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge

  Car Health Overview
  - Fuel level, odometer, and ambient temperature
  - All key vitals on one screen

 Requires Hardware
  KDM Link requires the N-Link Bluetooth device connected to your vehicle's OBD-II port. The app does not
  function without it.

  All data stays on your device. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking.

- Boost gauge accuracy. The boost/turbo gauge could spike erratically (jumping to 15–20 psi during light throttle) and read large negative values at idle. The app now reads boost from the correct engine signal, so the gauge tracks smoothly and accurately from idle vacuum through full boost. Most noticeable on the Elantra N (DCT).
- Updated vehicle profiles for Elantra N, Kona N, and Veloster N. Existing installs receive the corrected boost decoding automatically via a vehicle-data update — no re-pairing needed.

- Added a filter for invalid CAN frames so momentary sensor dropouts no longer flash bad boost readings.

  - Fuel level no longer shows stale or jittery values: added freshness tracking so the UI hides fuel
  readings that haven't been refreshed by the vehicle.
  - Hardened null/connection-state checks in the BLE pipeline to prevent spurious telemetry stalls.

  Under the hood
  - Refactored vehicle ID handling, manifest loading, and RaceChrono asset service for safer atomic
  writes and UTF-8 correctness.
  - Telemetry aggregator and CAN decoder improvements plus broad new test coverage (vehicle composer,
  manifest, telemetry provider, vehicle selection, data storage).
