### 5/5 — This app isn’t like the others

*2025-12-05*

TLDR; no other app does as good of a job scanning receipts down to the individual item level. Keepm stands alone in its balance between manual tracking and convenient scanning.

I’ve been using budgeting apps since phone apps were invented. And I’ve used them all. I’m not naturally good with money, thus my need.

Budgeting apps usually fall into two categories. There’s the ones that connect to your bank and automate everything. Think Simplifi, Mint, etc. Lots of features and they do the work for you. These apps I end up ignoring completely because it’s all automated. I just never think to open them.

Then there’s the manual ones like Buddy without the premium plan. Good that you have to enter each expense manually because you’re in the app looking at your spending all the time. It makes you pay closer attention. But manual entry is soooo tedious. And just like the automated apps, what happens when you go grocery shopping? You get one giant expense called “Stop & Shop” or “Walmart.” Are you going to sit there splitting that receipt into categories? I don’t think so.

Enter Keepm, that strikes the right balance. Manual entry, but the item-level receipt scanning and importing is pure magic. And the budgets are super flexible too. I can simultaneously track total spend for the month, by week and for certain categories.

It’s a new app, and there’s room to grow. But its core functionality puts it into a different category than the others. It’s the first app that finally works for me.

### 5/5 — What I Needed

*2025-01-17*

I like to budget and try to keep track of expenses, but it's difficult to visualize how each purchase contributes to the bottom line with monthly statements/ my bank's online tools.

This app makes seeing how spending affects budget super quick and easy - the intuitive design and fast receipt scanning gives real time feedback so I can adjust my habits throughout the month.

Receipt itemization is usually very accurate, and tracking price of a certain item over time is a cool feature.

Also appreciate how it works with PDFs or screenshots of online receipts.

Overall really useful app that is easy to navigate and has helped save me from overspending on several occasions

**Developer response:** Thank you! Glad it has helped you!

### 5/5 — Great for staying on a budget

Just upload receipts and helps you stay on a budget. Also shows if you are over paying for certain products.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review!

### 5/5 — This is really cool!

*2025-01-16*

I’ve tried multiple receipt and budgeting apps and none of them can organize and track spending like this one. You can scan paper receipts as well as digital ones. There’s also a unique tool that helps you track inflation and pricing trends on things you buy regularly 🙌🏼

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! Hopefully you continue to find it helpful!
