This is really a shame since the speakers themselves are quite good but the app does not do them any justice. It is not straight forward in the app to find my locally stored music. Once I find them, it is easy to add them to my play queue, however, this queue can’t be saved and it seems to be limited to 10 songs only even though it shows it can go up to 1000. I would not recommend to use this app to play music, only use it to setup the speakers. ### 1/5 — Kef coda w *2026-08-05, version 1.30.0* I’m using a KEF Coda W with the KEF Connect app. I cannot change the primary speaker assignment (left/right). The app does not allow me to switch the primary speaker from left to right or vice versa. It either doesn’t recognise the speakers or if it does the buttons are just greyed out with a spinning wheel of doom. The only way to get them to connect is to turn them on with the supplied remote and then the app will work. ### 1/5 — Clunky and Broken *2026-07-23, version 1.29.0* Purchased the LSX II LT speakers months ago and have had nothing but issues with the software. Even when connected directly via USB-C you are required to setup the speakers first via the KEF Connect app (which is mostly impossible) and even when connected properly the app features are limited (for some reason). Dev team refuses to update and improve. ### 1/5 — Took away access to all settings *2026-07-19, version 1.29.0* After some recent update the app no longer lets you change settings like whether the speakers are hardwired to one another or invert the left and right side ### 2/5 — Lag *2026-07-12, version 1.29.0* The volume control on the Kef Coda W is very laggy and therefore very annoying.
