But there are a couple simple issues that I can’t believe have never been addressed. 1) user is required to scroll through hundreds of options each time to get to hard or expert levels. Should be an easy (and obvious) fix with a filter. 2) you will eventually run out of games and the solution is to uninstall the game, re-install, then restore purchases. Come on devs. It’s 2026. Fix this. ### 3/5 — Not good for airplane trips *2026-06-29* Paying for puzzles doesn't actually download all the puzzles you bought. Instead, the model is that once a puzzle is completed, another of the same type is "automatically downloaded" (their terminology) to the device, to replace the completed one. This means this app is completely unsuitable for extended offline use, such as on a long airplane trip without WiFi... which is unfortunately exactly why I bought puzzles. Also (less critical): the app does not recognize a keyboard (such as on an iPad), and requires tapping the screen to select numbers even when there's a keyboard available. ### 3/5 — Could be better *2026-02-17, version 3.87* I enjoy the mental exercise, but get frustrated by glitches in the app. I always play 6x6 medium or hard. Why can’t it learn that? Why are there SO SO MANY easy games? I run out of games, despite having bought more. To get more, I have to delete and then reload the app. I lose my personal best times. Very irritating. It’s also too easy to swipe the screen left or right when entering numbers in a hurry. Can’t that be optionally locked? I just bought my third 1000 game expansion pack. There’s a known bug when you buy that is cured by deleting and reinstalling the game and then recovering your purchases. Seems like, if they know about it, why not fix it. I play only 9x9 expert games. Having devised several numeric relationships rules, the others are too easy. Still, after all these years and games, the game still has some new twist every few plays. Star rating is greyed out. Total scam that it charges me over $24 and yet I still am bombarded with junky ads. 8 I finally undid the subscription and erased it. After upgrading to a new iPad, I re-downloaded the app and tried to restore my purchases so I could continue playing the puzzles I paid for, but it says that I have no purchase history.
