Functional now but still buggy as hell. Update: app is completely bricked now after doing another cycle of deleting & reloading. Can’t log in to my current account OR make a new one. Doesn’t appear to be any remaining app support either. Used to be great, but took a nose dive this year. Every few weeks the app forgets my A/C exists, then forgets that my account exists. They use very little washer, yet they clean very well. I started using the wifi feature so I can now see from my phone when each cycle is finished or how much time I have left. For the past few years, the same pattern repeats: at the start of the season, the app only shows a spinning loading circle. It eventually starts working around June, then stops again in July—and that’s exactly what’s happening now. The whole point of a smart A/C is being able to check and control it when I’m away from home, but I can’t rely on the app to do that. I would love to see Kenmore make this app dependable. Right now, there’s nothing “smart” about it. ### 1/5 — No longer working *2026-07-16, version 4.5.7* I’ve used this app with a window air conditioner for 5 or 6 years. It worked okay. A few glitches each spring when I started using it for the season but no big deal. This year it was working fine and then a few days ago the app wouldn’t open. I understand. It happens with many apps from time to time. Delete the app, reinstall, log back in and all is good. But not in this case. I reinstalled the app but can’t log in. So I figured I’d create a new login. No go. It won’t allow that either. I just get a “there was a problem…, blah,blah,blah. Since I cant get the app to open, I can’t get to tech support. Can’t even get to a page where there might be a phone number. I am completely stuck. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-07-15, version 4.5.7* Using the app with 2 air purifiers is a nightmare. They keep disconnecting and the procedure to re-link them is obnoxious. After deleting and reinstalling the app I can’t log in and can’t create a new account as error messages display. After a year my PM4030 top controls are unresponsive and the only way to control it is this garbage app. Every setting I change I have to exit the app or it freezes. Absolute junk brand these days. In June 2025 my washer stopped connecting. The tech support doesn’t respond to questions. Not pleased. You are better served buying an LG or Samsung branded product that have tech support connected with their apps. ### 1/5 — Totally useless and no support *2025-11-19, version 4.5.4* I own a Kenmore washer and dryer set purchased in 2021 that advertises compatibility with this app. Early on I didn’t try to set up the app, but now that I am, it’s not working. It connects to the dryer but never updates its “last run” date from months ago. It won’t connect to the washer at all. I followed the in-app link to email for support, but the email went unanswered.
