### 4/5 — Missing a few techniques

*2020-12-22*

It’s missing a few of the traditional techniques like aggressive twins and intellectual departure. Yeah I know that Kenpo said that it wasn’t a requirement to know them, but I think you guys should still include them.

### 4/5 — Needs some diagrams and videos

*2020-12-18*

Love the app. It’s definitely helping me to practice while in quarantine. However, my eight year old daughter is wanting to learn also. It would be great if there were some diagrams or videos to be able to show her how to do the movements, and help me to perfect my form also.

### 4/5 — Nice! Have request...

*2016-10-08*

I think you're on the right track with this app. Can we have random tech timed (1 min ea or user preference?) to exercise and random not repeating techniques?

### 4/5 — RANDOM TEKS

*2014-12-22*

I'd like the random tek feature if I were able to go to another technique after completion. Great for practicing / studying.

**Developer response:** Issue has been addressing in the pending update.

### 4/5 — Cool app missing one feature

*2014-07-22*

This app is only missing the ability to allow user to build their own curriculum. Seem like a simple feature to add in future update.

**Developer response:** I think this is a great idea. Could you send me an email via the feedback button in the app, so we could discuss this further? Thanks.

### 4/5 — Cool

*2013-08-12*

Pretty good game.
It challenges you with different difficulties and a setting where you can make it go random to see if you learnt enough but it explains it in a very confusing wAy

### 5/5 — Very good!

I am a black belt and this app still helps me out. Excellent app keep up the good work

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Initial review

*2019-12-30*

I just downloaded the app and immediately I see the ultimate flaw in my opinion. There are now visual examples of what you’re reading. This is definitely not for beginners at all.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2014-01-22*

Every time I clicked on the app it closed. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still having the same problem. Ipod touch.

**Developer response:** Do you still have this issue? And are you using an iOS version prior to the iOS version supported by the version of Kenpo Teks you downloaded? If your device is on the list of devices that Apple no longer supports that might be the problem, and if so it is a problem to take up with Apple itself and not give bad reviews to a developer that conforms to their protocols.

### 2/5 — won't open

*2013-07-15, version 1.03*

every time i open the app and click on a technique it closes the app. i have unistalled and reinstalled and still the same thing on both the iphone 4s and the ipad 2. please help

### 3/5 — Ed Parker karate review

*2023-05-24*

This is awesome in order to practice the material. This app is awesome in order to practice the material but videos would be nice.

### 3/5 — Needs videos

*2023-04-13*

Great app but would be better if instructional videos were available.

### 3/5 — Good for what it is

*2021-10-23*

I would have gave 5 stars if they had Tracy’s on here, I couldn’t use it because of this.

### 3/5 — Glitches

*2017-08-05, version 1.03*

Great up but crashes when uses random and please update to ios 10

### 3/5 — Not current

*2015-02-04*

Doesn't show the current 5.0

### 3/5 — Kenpo Teks - random function

*2014-05-26, version 1.03*

Overall Kenpo Teks is a good app for those who want or need a quick glance reference. The one problem area is the Random function. Random "within belt" appears to work fine, but the "up to belt" consistently crashes.

### 3/5 — Enjoy having the lists easily accessible

*2013-06-14*

This app is great for having easy mobile access to technique lists. The randomization mode does not appear to work. Maybe I am doing something wrong, was it supposed to say the technique name I don't know. I would love to be able to set the randomization and have it shout out techniques to increase my recognition of names to actual technique motions.

**Developer response:** The randomization issue is addressed the pending update.

### 5/5 — American Kenpo

*2024-01-06*

Great app for American Kenpo.
The only problem is, when you search Kenpo in the App Store this app doesn’t show up. You guys need to find a way to make sure Kenpoteks shows up when people search Kenpo in the App Store.

### 5/5 — Anonymous

*2022-10-10*

MasterTatum is a great instructor with superb and practical teaching ability. SENIOR G.M. Mr. Parker (RIP) skills are expressed through GM Mr. Tatum's demonstrations, also the ground techniques are explained and implemented in a jujitsu fashion that blends Kenpo and Jujitsu working in harmony.

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2022-08-04*

This app delivers everything it needs to. There are options for the 24 technique system as outlined in Infinite Insights Into Kenpo and the other systems Mr. Parker played with. If he were here to see this app, I believe he would be pleased.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-08-16*

Love your app but I think it would be neat to have videos with technique instructions added to it . Great app though.

Thank you
Peter

### 5/5 — Killer app

*2019-07-24, version 1.08*

This app is incredible!! And it’s helped my training so much. The knowledge in this app is well broken up and categorized. Just a great app. My thanks to those behind it!!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2019-05-31*

Fantastic app with great features. It really helps to have such a compact resource for this much info, especially while working out.
I think it would be great to include sets and forms in a future update. Maybe even a library of basics.
Even without, this app has exactly what I needed.

### 5/5 — Best kenpo reference

*2018-01-06*

Going through the system it helped me as I learned and wrote down the techniques, helped me review as I practiced at home, and even now when I am dissecting the techniques and analyzing them and how they relate to other techniques with similar attacks, it has been the best in the go reference.

### 5/5 — A good short collection

*2017-10-04, version 1.08*

For me as total beginner this app makes it very easy to remind or refresh the moves.

### 5/5 — Great App for training

### 5/5 — Awesome App!
