I can live without the “cool” sounding useless features but the app and the camera fails at the most basic task, the playback part, be it from the cloud or the micro SD card, the playback is unpredictable and buggy. Very slow servers and cameras just show "connecting" for hours. What's the point of these cameras when you cannot connect and view the feed on time? I bought this Kent Cameye about 3 weeks ago from one of your sales person who visited me at my house. I got a new premium car and was looking for a premium dashcam device which is not Chinese. To my surprise I started having issues immediately. I ignored earlier thinking may I am not using it right but then when I really spent time understanding and exploring the device the following issues started emerging: Unable to view videos for some of my trips No option to rotate (inside/outside) camera while trying to view recording Unable to view videos downloaded on the app. The app always crashes as soon I click on Downloaded section Unable to save videos from SD Card to device (while connected via Wifi to Cameye) The worst problem of all. Unable to view videos on SD card on my laptop. The videos don’t play at all. The Timelapse video quality is horrible. You just take few images and package them as Timelapse. This is not timelapse at all. The video looks like made by a 5 yrs old child as a slideshow of images Even normal recording is not smooth. It looks like the video is playing on a 2g network I was using a Chinese dashcam which was 1/3rd price of Cameye before this and it records and plays better video quality. Also I could download the video on my phone or copy from SD card and share it with my friends and family. The whole idea for having a dashcam was to record my trip videos and share it with friends and family. Or in case of accident I could use the video as proof. But your device dosen’t let me download videos and share. I cant copy videos from SD card and share because they are encrypted. The whole purpose of me having a dashcam is defeated. Also during the sale I was not told that SD card videos can not be copied and played on laptop or other devices. This device is completely useless for me. I demand a full refund of my money and please take your device away. Its just 3 weeks and I need my money back. I would never recommend this to anybody. Highly disappointed. ### 1/5 — Beta level device and application *2019-12-06* Please don’t buy KENT CAMEYE like i did, my opinion which i am going to note done here is based on 2+ weeks experience, I brought the product recently which is obvious from the previous line. Regarding demo and installation is very easy and reliable, thats how i got attracted to kent cameye, the features such as live video, cloud recordings, gps tracking are like next gen features. 1. To be honest kent cameye has two cameras which capture inside and outside of the vehicle. Recording itself is not continuous or loop, its short duration time lapse. 2.No memory card provided due to that no internal storage 3. Cloud storage which is very futuristic but takes time to upload due to this we could only be able to review the recorded video after its synced with server, i use my vehicle on a daily basis and for me there whole 1week videos are yet to synced, and in between there is one which they don’t even have a track of, (customer care response) they lost the video some how. 4. Notifications are the only thing which we get up to date/time, as in from time the vehicle starts the device starts recording. If you happen to have an option the try and buy the device, that will be the best option, all they are(kent) doing is getting funding for there beta level device. Even cheaper other brand Camera & app are 100% reliable. The base which rotates the camera broke within a month. The UI completely hangs and shows Error when I monitor for more than 30 secs.
