My app was working with my Kenwood (more or less) in 2025. I downloaded the Jan 2026 app, and now I can no longer access traffic on my unit. Their system somehow things I’m a new user and won’t access my registration. Kenwood support threw up their hands and referred me to Inrix, who has been unresponsive for many weeks. The app has Kenwood’s name on it, so they should support it…but they wont!

Don’t waste time downloading this. It doesn’t connect. Kenwood say inrix are aware of an issue but they don’t seem to be inclined to fix it as the service is being discontinued . After this experience I will avoid all inrix apps in future.

It’s shameful to even call this an app. Works rarely, at best. Zero user end support, zero UI fluidity and zero effort.

When it worked it was acceptable, although it insisted that you sign in every time it connects. Unfortunately sign in has been broken for over 6 months. Support only says that  “Japan know about the problem and are working on it “ . Sounds like a part time single developer. We expect better from JVC.

Awful app. You need to enter first name, surname and email address every time you turn on ignition. Mostly doesn’t connect or work even when you enter info. Don’t waste your time, I’ve wasted mine for you.
