Used to be efficient but is now completely inconsistent has gotten even worse, lucky if you get a ride at all ### 3/5 — App not accurate *2025-02-10, version 4.17.4* Wasn’t able to book my ride all the way home because it said my place was out of range. Where in fact it is. ### 2/5 — what happened?? *2024-12-06, version 4.17.4* i live in a really hilly suburb with only one bus that runs from only 7-7 ish (even then its like a 15 minute uphill walk) making keo literally my only method of transport and i rely on it to get to school, or literally any other time i need to leave my house/suburb. it used to be amazing and basically my holy grail. recently however, it has become extremely unreliable, either not showing any keos available even at like 1pm, or i may book a keo thats set to come in 25 and then once i book it it becomes over 40 minutes away?? ive had to cancel over 10 rides as a result and i cannot get a refund for this so its ended up setting me back around $30 for an issue i have no control over. pls fix ### 2/5 — App freezes *2024-08-03, version 4.17.4* I love the convenience of booking Keorides but recently the app has been frozen on the home page and I’m unable to use it. I scheduled one for this morning yesterday and when I did one on demand when I woke up, it said there was one when mine was scheduled for but when it got to the time it said it was full. ### 1/5 — Stupid app *2023-10-10, version 4.11.12* Atleast in the old update it actually counted my house as in the street now I have to walk very far just to get home because it now counts my house as not in my street ### 1/5 — new update *2023-10-08, version 4.11.12* the new update is terrible and won’t let you book rides ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Unable to book *2026-02-04, version 4.26.4* The Keoride app does not function properly for bookings. The map repeatedly shows “outside service area” despite Keoride operating multiple times daily between Mona Vale and the Bayview Peninsula Gardens retirement village. As a result, elderly residents are unable to book via the app and are forced to rely on phone bookings as their only option. Unfortunately, staff have been rude and unhelpful when this issue has been raised. ### 1/5 — App not working *2026-01-27, version 4.26.2* App not opening. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling- didn’t work ### 1/5 — Poor communication via app *2026-01-26, version 4.26.2* Poor app: the app does not say WHERE I’m being picked up- what street number. It just gives a map with buildings without numbers. I waited at the place I’d been picked up from my home in the past, then got notifications I couldn’t respond to asking where I was. So coy in an uncute way- let’s play hide and seek at 6:30 in the morning! This makes the system very inefficient and frustrating for both parties- and the people delayed down the line. Just tell me the street number I’m being picked up at please and I’ll be there. Also give me the option to communicate with someone in real time. This could have been avoided if the app was more intuitive and communicative. This is a review of the app, not the drivers or ondemand transport Keoride offers. ### 1/5 — Changed app from SA to NSW *2025-07-05, version 4.20.4* If Keoride has just been introduced in NSW and you’ve recycled the SA app and changed the name for the positive reviews (you did) that is extremely deceptive and scummy behaviour. The NSW service or navigation might not be good and you’ve tricked people. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2025-05-18, version 4.17.109* Keoride is a real gamble whether it actually shows up or not, doesn’t matter if you book days in advance. The worst part - Keoride doesn’t let you know it is not coming until after it’s 15 minutes late from pickup time, meaning you wait and miss other transport options like the bus. ### 1/5 — Don’t use unless you really have to *2025-02-06, version 4.17.4* They are always delayed or unavailable and the drivers are not that nice. I have to get one every day because of lack of transport around my area and it is painful to get to places on time. If you want to get somewhere on time you have to book it an hour in advance. Some drivers wait for a few minutes which is really handy when they suddenly come early but other will drive off if they don’t see you at the meet spot at the exact time they arrive. ALSO sometimes I would pre pay for a ride only for the ride to cancel on me or not even book but still charge me… never got a refund 😔 (emailed them a few times to get my money back) ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-04-02, version 4.13.8* Might be the worst thing ever Ngl, I genuinely hate keos ### 1/5 — Never Available *2024-03-27, version 4.11.12* My town only has a clockwise bus loop, and because there’s no anticlockwise loop it makes it very frustrating to get a bus into the shopping centre because public transport doesn’t service my residential area. So I’ve been trying Keoride recently because aside from walking it’s my only effective method of transport. Except I the majority of the time I’m unable to get a ride, the app says they’re aren’t any available, regardless of the time of day. I think I’ve successfully gotten a Keoride a total of three times out of the many that I’ve tried.
